The forecast was for rain, so I used an all-weather site that wasn't Mt. Fuji View. When making the reservation, I asked questions about the temperature, wind, and snow forecast, as well as the surrounding road conditions, but I was reassured that they answered the questions very politely.Since it was a weekday and rainy, there were only two other guests and it was quite quiet. The tent space is divided into a wooden deck and the rest of the concrete space, making it quite spacious. I was concerned that the concrete space had poor drainage, so if it rained, puddles would form, and the table and chairs provided were covered in sand, so I didn't feel like using them. Also, the site on the opposite side of Mt. Fuji has wooden scaffolding that goes between the site and the car parking area, but be careful as it can be slippery if it's wet. However, this was my first time at a site with a roof, and it was quite comfortable even in the snow. It was incredibly easy to dismantle, and I was surprised that there was a drying room, albeit a simple one.The restrooms are very clean and no shoes are allowed. The washing area is large enough for 6 people to use at the same time, and has hot water. Detergent and scrubbers are also provided, so if you forget, you can get away with it (be careful, as the detergent is organic, so the oil will be difficult to remove). Not sure about the shower as it has not been used. The front desk was open until 5pm, but in addition to drinks, the vending machine also sold some hot snacks, cup noodles, bag noodles, and miscellaneous goods such as toothbrushes, bandages, and underwear. There were no shops nearby, but it was unexpected. It was a lineup that was safe even in situations like this. There are also play equipment such as trampolines and hammocks, and some wind equipment for children to play with.I think the view is best on a clear day, so I'd like to visit this campground again when the weather is nice.
