It's been a long time since I've traveled alone and stayed in a guesthouse for the first time in a while.Located right next to Maibara Beach, this inn is perfect for those looking for the ocean.This price is great because it includes 2 meals per night and all you can drink awamori at dinner.For dinner, the main dish is fish and meat, which change daily.In the summer, the public space on the second floor gets very hot.The problem is that the futons in the Japanese-style room are thin...

It's a guesthouse that feels like a guesthouse.You can drink awamori as a welcome drink (every night). For morning and evening meals, the proprietress seems to go shopping every day and decide on the menu.The first floor is the dining room. You can chat not only with the two chatty owners, but also with fellow guests.The private room has a futon, table, TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, and Wi-Fi. In the room, each person lays out their own futon and sleeps. There is Wi-Fi in the room.You can go to Maibara Beach in 1-2 minutes on foot. It's difficult to see the path at night, so we recommend borrowing a flashlight. There are many plants between Maibara Beach and the guest house, so you can see the starry sky from the beach. You can also take a walk along the coast during the day.Since it is far from Ishigaki Airport and Ishigaki City, we recommend renting a car. It seems possible to go there by bus.If you use a car navigation system, you will end up going to the wrong place (the center of Oaza?) and will not be able to get there, so we recommend using Google MAP navigation.

Despite the sudden reservation, they welcomed us very warmly.The dinner and breakfast meals were also full of volume, and after dinner they served nuts as snacks, which made the time enjoyable. In addition, I feel that the bus timetable is original and easy to read, and that the two owners cherish their animals, including cats, crows, and the dog Milk, which shows their warm personalities. I did.The water, rooms, and common spaces were very clean, and although it was a short stay, I was able to spend a very comfortable time. thank you very much!

The view from the room. Lots of nature!The rice is also delicious. Full of volume. There are 4 side dishes for dinner. The main dish is meat → fish → meat → fish, so you won't get bored every day.2-3 minutes walk from the beach.Ishigaki Island is warm even in winter, so it's perfect for relaxing!

[A cozy inn with a lovely couple and cats]I stayed for 4 nights in July. The food my wife cooked was delicious every day, and at dinner I was able to chat with my husband while drinking awamori, so I looked forward to dinner every day.In addition, there are several cats at the inn, and you will be healed by their unique personalities, including a tsundere cat, a friendly cat, and a cat who has gained weight due to lack of exercise.Maibara Beach is also within walking distance, and you can rent snorkeling gear at the rental shop next door, which is very convenient.It was a warm guesthouse that I would definitely like to visit again.

This is a guest house with a lovely couple. It was clean, the food was delicious, they took care of babies and children, and we had a memorable time. I love cats, so that's a plus. I'll visit you again!

I’m rating only the parking+shower service as that’s the only thing I used. It cost 500¥ per car which is the same as the other parkings of Yonehara beach (cost can be discounted if you get lunch there too). but the difference is that the other parkings do not offer shower.. On the down side it is situated on right side of the beach so need to walk a bit to go to the best snorkeling spot on left side.
