It was a good and cheap campsite.Other than the fact that there are no shops nearby, it was good. Although we didn't get to go in, there was also a Goemon bath for free.

The auto area is large and divided by shrubs.Judging from the size of the parked car, it's probably about 15m x 20m.I used it with a 6m large tarp and a 3.5m dome tent, and it was comfortable to use.The kitchen and toilets are new and clean with washlets.Families and women will have no problem. Also, there is a plaza across from the free area, so you can relax.2,000 yen with power supply, 1,000 yen without!Bungalows can also be rented for 3,000 yen.I visited twice during the autumn holidays, but it was empty and almost completely reserved.Rabbits and squirrels sometimes show up, giving it a natural feel.Frozen meat and bacon are available at the nearby roadside station shop. There was also local stone oven baked bread. The vegetables sold outside the parking lot were fresh and cheap.Soft serve ice cream tastes normal.

No, I like it because the location is good, but it's quiet. I stayed for two nights and three days, but I couldn't use the shower because all four of the Goemon baths were covered with lids while they were being used night and day. After boiling the water once, the user throws away the water so the next person can use it.Are you an idiot for reserving a private bath just because you want to boil the water at night and reheat it in the morning? Sometimes there are families pitching tents next to Goemon and making a fuss. Since there is a 24-hour bill, I can't use it in the end, so I have to go all the way to Maruseppu to take a bath the next morning. The bathtub itself is aging, so I wish they would remove it and just use the shower. Next time, if the lid stays on for too long, I'll drain the water from the pot.

I visited on May 15, 2024...or should I say, I went through it.It was early in the day, so it didn't seem like they were open.It will probably open in the summer. The campsite is located in the mountains, so I think you can have a quiet camping experience.

I received this while on a camping trip in Hokkaido. It's in a place blessed with a wonderful natural environment. It's a wonderful place surrounded by forests. It's said that you can boil your own Goemon bath and take a bath. But what surprised me was that the area around the campsite was covered with an electric fence. Apparently it's to prevent wild animals from entering, but is it really safe?

Perhaps because of the rain on July 15th and 16th, only 3 groups, including myself, visited the free site (600 yen). You can enter the Goemon bath for free by cutting your own firewood and boiling the water, and there is also a coin shower (100 yen for 10 minutes). For some reason, the toilet on the free site side was excellent with a washlet. There is a flat area, but since it is a free site there is a slight slope, so you may need to be careful when it is crowded. It was a very quiet campsite where you could hear the chirping of birds and the hoots of owls, and I had a great time.
