It seems to be run by a husband and wife, so it's not luxurious by any means, but it was a warm and nice inn.The indoor bath was quite hot, but the temperature of the water in the outdoor bath was just right and I was able to relax in the fresh greenery.I was satisfied with the food, quantity, and quality, and the alcohol was reasonably priced. The guest room didn't have a washroom or toilet, but it was nearby so it wasn't an inconvenience.

I visited at the end of October.I was actually planning to stay somewhere else, but I couldn't make a reservation, so I looked at the website and it looked good, so I stayed here for the first time.In a good way, it felt like a ryokan in the mountains, and it had a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere that reminded me of the ryokan I stayed at when I was a child.Although it felt old, it was well-maintained and clean.Well, let's ignore the insects that can sneak in if there is a gap.As others have mentioned, the food was delicious, plentiful and satisfying. This time, we had shabu-shabu, a steak with hoba miso, and two main dishes. The miso in the Hoba miso steak was especially delicious, and I ended up eating three bowls of rice.I also ordered local Hida sake, which was also delicious and a very satisfying meal.Take a bath after eating. There are two indoor baths and one open-air bath, all of which can be reserved for private use.Although it is an indoor bath, there is a small open-air bath attached, which is quite elaborate. The open-air bath is right in front of you, and the maple trees with their autumn leaves lit up are so beautiful that you will be moved by them.Soak in the hot springs flowing directly from the source while looking at the maple leaves and the stars in the night sky. What a luxurious time!I think it's worth visiting just for this reason. There are no toilets or sinks in the rooms, but if you don't mind that, I think this is a highly recommended accommodation.

I came here at the end of October 2017. The food was delicious, the room was clean, and the hot springs were great. I was very impressed.

All the dishes are delicious, and the Hoha miso grill for breakfast is exquisite. The hoba miso served elsewhere is no longer palatable.

Excuse me, but are you making a profit? The volume of the food makes you wonder. The alcohol was not at the hotel price at all, so I felt sorry when I paid for it.What is noteworthy is that they are not only voluminous, but also delicious. Not only the local river fish and Hida beef, but also the tempura was beautifully fried. There are also 3 hot springs that you can use privately whenever you want, as long as they are available. When I travel, my daily routine often gets disrupted and I often don't feel well as scheduled, so I'm really happy that I can use the private baths at all three locations at my own time without having to make a reservation. Surprisingly, there isn't.This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.

Cheap and delicious food. Women may dislike not having a toilet in their room.
