We stayed for 2 nights with a group of 6 people in September. It was my first experience staying in a container hotel, but the interior was incredibly stylish and comfortable despite its rustic exterior. You can see Mt. Daisetsu from the open windows. There are no private houses in the area other than the owner's house, so I was able to spend a luxurious time in silence with a bonfire and BBQ in front of the spectacular view. However, please note that there are no supermarkets or convenience stores in the area (which is natural since the concept is a front-line base for Mt. Daisetsu), so it is essential to prepare a means of transportation such as a car*.*When I checked with the owner, he said that they are considering a bicycle rental service, so if you are in need of one, please contact us in advance and they may be able to accommodate you.As I've written a lot, it costs 18,000 yen per night to rent a house, and it's in a great location, just 30 minutes by car from Asahikawa Airport and Mt. Asahidake Ropeway, so it's highly recommended for groups climbing.

A secret base for adults located at the foot of Mt. Asahidake. We stayed one night at a backcountry ski base. It has good access to Hokkaido's highest peak, Mt. Asahidake, as well as the Tokachi mountain range. This hotel is said to be a renovated container, and the exterior looks like a secret base. However, once you step inside, the impression completely changes. A comfortable space spreads out.The most attractive feature is the large windows. You can see Mt. Asahidake. Not only will you be soothed by the magnificent scenery, but it will also be useful for checking the weather before climbing. lolI forgot to lower the blinds and fell asleep, but this window faces east. Yes, you don't need an alarm in the morning. I woke up to the morning sun shining through the large window.People who love outdoor brand tableware and bedding are irresistible. There was also a stove (apparently it was called a pellet stove), and the coffee I drank while looking at the fire and Mt. Asahidake tasted better than usual. It also has a washing machine, refrigerator, IH, etc., making it possible for long-term stays. The weather may not be nice in winter in the mountains, but it would be nice to stay in your room here.It seems that there are more and more stylish cafes and izakayas in the area, so I wanted to plan a long stay there next year.
