This is my second stay here, and the view of Oku-Nikko was amazing, and it was quiet and soothing. Both the food and the drinks were made with many ingredients from Tochigi, so I really enjoyed it! I would like to visit again in different seasons!

It's very relaxing in the mountains. The food offers a variety of choices. It's different from other hot spring hotels. I think it's good. It's parent-child friendly. There are many food choices and parents won't worry about children eating.

Used it for the first time in several years in early July. This time I was alone. This is a hotel where you can stay with peace of mind.good points・Surrounding natural environment. Wildlife, plants and starry skies. There were a lot of deer in the forest in front of the hotel both at dinner time and at bedtime.・The room (Western twin) is comfortable. You can enjoy bird watching from your room. The unit bath and toilet are spacious and clean.・Night starry sky class (unfortunately we can't go outside because it's cloudy, but you can hear wonderful stories about constellations), experience roasting marshmallows, and have fun events. It's probably aimed at kids, but adults can enjoy it too.・The hot springs are also perfect. It's a blissful time to listen to the chirping of wild birds and soak in the sulfur hot springs from early morning to late evening.- All the staff at the front desk and restaurant are smiling and polite.Unfortunately・As others have written, I chose a plan that included two more items (yuba and horse sashimi) in the Homare dinner course, but since Homare's sashimi also has yuba, you only need one of the yuba, and you can use the other dishes instead. I wish I could cook it for you. Because of this, I couldn't eat all the Yuba and ended up leaving it behind. Is the food normal? . . No memorable dishes. However, the view from the restaurant and the courteous staff at the hall made it a nice atmosphere. However, considering the price of the stay, I would like the quality of the food to be a little higher. . The presentation of the sashimi is also sloppy.・A small red tick on the bed in your room? There were several. If it wasn't for this, the room would have been rated 5 stars (T_T) I fought off the insects I saw, applied insect repellent all over my body, and went to sleep. .I would like to come to this hotel again next time, so please check the futon!postscriptThis time, my husband and I visited at the beginning of Obon. I read online that all the places in the Yumoto area were fully booked, so I was planning a day trip, but when I inquired, I was told that one room was available (a corner twin room with a small window), so I decided to stay overnight. This room wasn't as bad as other people's reviews (comfortable), but the window is small so you can't really enjoy the view from the room. This time I was able to observe the constellations and see the Milky Way, a sky full of stars. Events at the inn are exciting. Also, although it was fully booked and there were many campers at this time of year, the day trip bathing period was extended until 7:00 pm, but the baths were not overcrowded.I was happy that my dinner came with roast beef (which went well with the accompanying Yuba), but on the other hand, the main dish was a strange basil dish. olive oil? The flavor of the soup stock was muddy, oily, and not very good. I'm sorry, but personally, I didn't find the breakfast delicious. The only negative aspect of this hotel is the food. I would be satisfied if the accommodation costs were a little lower.Well, the environment is wonderful, so I will go again next time.

The location is great. It was as wonderful as I expected, with a quiet lakeside walk, a walk in the forest, and a starry sky class at night. The hot spring was a comfortable temperature. (There are many seasonal dragonflies)I also appreciated the library environment where I could read books easily.I'm sure everyone's tastes are different when it comes to food, but I felt it was a little too elaborate and I wanted them to pursue simple deliciousness by taking advantage of the quality of the ingredients. The Nikko natural shaved ice in the photo had a very delicious skyberry sauce.Thank you very much for your help.

Unlike other vacation villages, dinner is a half buffet. Breakfast is a buffet. The hot springs, which change color depending on the time of day, have a strong sulfur scent and are of good quality.
