It was my first time outdoors and I was really excited, but it was great. I went there expecting the toilets and rooms to be full of insects, but they kept them clean, including the kitchen. I took all precautions to prevent heat stroke, but it was very cold at night, so I think it would be better to have something that can regulate my body temperature. Lake Toya was beautiful during the day and the stars were beautiful at night. The area other than the stairs seems to be a cliff, so be careful not to let small children run and fall. It was fun and I want to go again.

I shouldn't have called because the phone support was so bad. I guess there's nothing to worry about if you make an online reservation.

I have used it about four times in the past.I'm a light camper several times a year, but I personally like this one the best.I have experienced both bungalow foil and tent foil, but I recommend bungalow foil for beginners because the bungalows are clean and have a refrigerator. However, the road to get there is a bit steep, so if you have a less powerful car, you might have a hard time...

The stars at night are so beautiful to see.Because it is located at the top of a steep slope, you can see Lake Toya from above. There are also barbecue facilities available.

The inside of the bungalow was very clean and nice, I thought it was very warm inside, and it was very cheap, so I would like to go again.

A relaxing campsite with a beautiful view.Descending the stairs from the parking lot, there is a small lawn site with 4 plots beyond the kitchen. They let me use two sections so I could pitch a tarp. I think it would have been tough if it was just one section.I had heard that open flames were strictly prohibited on the site, so I used the kitchen, but there were no warnings or signs, so I guess it's not too strict. The stove in the kitchen was spacious, and the charcoal could be left in place, so it was easier than bringing a stove. Too bad we couldn't make a bonfire. For the children, it may have been disappointing because they got yelled at more than usual when they made a noise and there was no play area, but I think it was a wonderful experience for them to be able to look at the stars at the observatory at night. The scenery was beautiful and it was comfortable, so it's one of the campsites I want to go to again (^^)When I come back in 2022 for the first time in a year, I see a change.Next to the kitchen building are three family sites, and the solo site is near the parking lot. There was also a sign prohibiting open flames.Unfortunately, it was cloudy and I couldn't see the stars, but I was able to relax and watch the beautiful sunset.First night in a bungalow in autumn. It's bigger and more beautiful than I expected!I enjoyed using the hot springs near the reception for a half-price ticket (no shampoo, etc.) and seeing the starry sky at the observatory.Second stay in a bungalow in spring. The cherry blossoms were starting to fall, but the scenery was beautiful and soothing.
