Thank you for your help while walking Nakasendo this time. Both dinner and morning, we were served delicious, freshly prepared dishes that had a home-made feel to them, and we ate them all.The host, wife, and daughter talked to us about various things including information about Nakasendo, and it was a very comfortable stay.I returned with my companion and was impressed by how delicious the food was and how comfortable the inn was.

I used it on a trip with two girls. It has a clean appearance both inside and outside. The cleaning was thorough and I was excited from the first time I saw it.The room wasn't flashy, but it was a very relaxing room. Above all, it's beautiful.Although the bath is not a hot spring, it is also a relaxing space. We had our meals in the dining room on the first floor.Jazz was playing, there was a fireplace,I was able to enjoy my meal in a happy atmosphere.Every dish was carefully prepared and delicious. It was also nice to be able to have it delivered in a warm condition.Alcohol is also charged separately, but it's good because you can order it.If you are drinking in your room, you are not allowed to bring food or drinks into the inn, so you can buy beer, chuhai, tea, etc. from the vending machines on the second floor.Breakfast is also served in the dining room.It was a very satisfying meal with salmon, natto, miso soup, salad, etc.The owner of the inn was also kind and I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The price is also reasonable. If you are not particular about hot springs, this is a highly recommended inn.I would like to use it again.Thank you for your help.

There are many reasons to mention the lack of facilities and amenities. However, the deliciousness of the food and the attentiveness of the host made me feel like these shortcomings didn't matter.

Delightful traditional family inn with neat and clean tatami rooms and a small, lovely hot bath with a view, tucked away at the foot of mountains. The hosts were lovely and knowledgeable about the area and it’s trails, and the food was terrific - they were even able to cater to vegetarians with sufficient notice. A little Japanese (or help from someone who speaks) will go a long way when arranging a booking, but the hosts worked hard to communicate with us despite our low levels.
