1. An inn where cat lovers gather. However, the cat is a tsundere, so just wait until it approaches you.2.The interior of the inn is mostly tatami, including the indoor bath. I think there were about 6 tubs in the indoor bath. All tickets are posted and reserved. There is no open air.3. The landlady, husband (handsome), and employees have excellent customer service.4.The quality and quantity of the food is just right.*It may not be enough for those who are big eaters.

This inn is located close to the Yubatake hot springs in Kusatsu. The building looks a bit old, but it's kept so clean that you wouldn't believe there were cats there. When I arrived and was relaxing in my room, a cat came in with an indifferent look on its face. It's like room service. I could hear her crying in the hallway at night, so when I opened the door, she came in normally and started sleeping, which was a great relief. The food is delicious, and this inn is perfect for cat lovers. I will go again.

Kusatsu Onsen Nakamuraya Ryokan is about a 3-minute walk from Kusatsu Bus Terminal. Great for cat lovers! The location is also great. The cat service is perfect! An inn where a cat will welcome you. When I went to this inn, I saw several cats lying in front of the entrance. The cat is sleeping, unfazed by the visitor.Even if I pet the cats, they are sleeping fine. When I went, there were two kittens. On-chan (♀) and Sen-chan (♂). This is also cute. They are siblings of a rescue cat rescued in the neighborhood. The two cats are being taken care of by the native cat Yamato-kun.Here, if you ask the landlady, you will receive one serving of michuru per room, which you can give to the cats.It is prohibited to bring in food without permission. For the health of cats. Cats are not allowed in the room. A customer was playing with cats at the entrance. This place has a good location. Yubatake can be seen from the inn. 1 minute walk. It's located in the center of Kusatsu Onsen, so it's easy to go anywhere. The inn has five private hot springs, each with a different interior. Kusatsu Onsen has a high water temperature, so it's best to dilute it with water before entering. The food is locally sourced.recommendation.P.S:There are several free public hot springs and several paid day trip hot springs near the inn. I recommend Nishinokawara Onsen (open-air bath, mixed bathing on Fridays, swimsuits required for mixed bathing) and Otaki Onsen (there are four hot springs with different temperatures. There is an open-air bath. No mixed bathing). There are also many souvenir shops near the Yubatake. After 5pm, many people stroll around Yubatake and its surrounding areas wearing yukata.

I stayed here in May 2024.【It was good point】The cat is cute! (There was also a kitten)The room is small but very clean!Take a bath anytime and as many times as you like!A hot spring that draws hot water from Yubatake is good!Plenty of amenities at the hot spring! When I made the reservation, I was told that the toilet did not have a washlet, but it actually did!The food was delicious!Close to Yubatake and parking lot![Unfortunate point]Voices from outside enter the room.TV in the room is small. There is no Wi-Fi.The heating didn't work due to a mistake.(They provided service after I reported it)There was no mattress in the futon, so my back hurt.At breakfast time, the person who prepared the food was working hard by himself, but it seemed like the food was full and there were times when there was no soy sauce or he forgot to turn on the solid fuel.[Overview]I wrote about a lot of things, but in the end I was very satisfied with the cuteness of the cats, the quality of the hot springs, and the hospitality of the employees. Each hot spring has a different temperature. It's fun to go through everything and find what you like.

A ryokan in a great location where you can see Kusatsu Yubatake from your room. It's a short walk from Yumomi Show, Yubatake, souvenir shops, and shops, so you can enjoy it anytime. And the signboard cats that are irresistible for cat lovers🐈🐈🐈Two cats greeted me as soon as I arrived, and one was sleeping in the cat bed next to the entrance🐈The building is showing its age, but there are no inconveniences.Amenities are available in the same color, and on the other hand, the atmosphere is calming.I stayed with breakfast and dinner included, and was surprised to find a hearth on the table. We were satisfied with delicious dishes made with local ingredients such as wild vegetables, homemade konnyaku, and yuba. Also, there are 5 types of private baths in the basement, so even if other customers were bathing, we didn't have to wait.I'm especially happy that it's open 24 hours a day! !It was late at night, but I wondered if there was a cat in the lobby in front of the front desk after taking a bath. When I went there, a black cat, Yamato-kun, and a pheasant tiger, Daikichi-kun, came and Yamato sat on my lap. I was so happy ❤️The proprietress of the inn was also a friendly and cheerful person who joked and was fun, and the staff who brought out the food and her husband? All of the people I met were nice people, and it was a great first trip to Kusatsu.

Visited during this Golden Week holiday.Nakamuraya Ryokan is highly recommended for those who value cost performance and those who like cats. The charm of Nakamuraya Ryokan lies in its convenient location. It's only a 30-second walk from Yubatake, so you won't have any trouble walking around eating food or visiting souvenir shops. However, depending on the guest room, you may be able to hear the voices of tourists and the footsteps of people walking in geta.It didn't bother us that much, but I think some people will.Although there are no hot springs in the guest rooms, you can enjoy Kusatsu's hot springs without worry in the five types of private open-air baths.Of course, it seems that the hot spring water is drawn from the hot spring field, and the hot spring water is so hot that it floats on top of the water. The temperature is a little high, lolBut I don't think you have to get cold from the hot water, and above all, it soaks into your body. You can also play with the signboard cat, so I think it's perfect for cat lovers. When we left, we had a photo taken with us as a farewell and souvenir, and we even received some rice balls.I was happy with the service from start to finish. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.Thank you very much for this time! !
