Stayed here in early October. Free. Arrived in the dark up road strewn with bits of tree and small rocks. Quite muddy but mostly fine for camping. Toilet block was clean and had automatic lights. In morning walked around lake which was very pretty. All shops and restaurant in surrounding areas closed at 6pm.

Due to the 4th wave of COVID-19 in Japan, the campsite is temporary closed since Aril 23, 2021 until the situation settled. So don't come now. (As of May 4, 2021).It looked clean, well-maintained. It has a water faucet (not drinkable). It would be very nice place to stay for free.

Before I knew it, the Senbon Kogen campground was transformed into a reality.Because it was a reservation systemI visited this place 4 years ago and went to day camp for the first time in a while.Arrive before 14:00Although it was Golden Week, about 5 to 6 groups visited.a lot of empty spaceSet up a tarp in the empty space near the toilet.I made a bonfire. The lush autumn leaves catch the sunlightvery beautifulThe breeze blowing through was pleasant.I stayed until sunset. There are electric lights so it's not pitch black. There is an automatic light outside the toilet. There was no light and it was pitch dark inside. There was a washing area, a fireplace, and an electric light.(switch type)By the time we get homeSolo camper with 2 peopleIt was empty considering it was Golden Week.

The road I used to go there was free and there were some dangerous spots as there were no guardrails, so please be careful if you don't drive much ☺️ There were a lot of people on day camp. All 5 groups were at day camp, so we were booked out at 4:30pm! 🙌 It was the day after Himezurudaira campsite had 25 groups, and there were no overnight guests, so it might be a hidden gem! Free is great! Notes below → ① The toilet is not clean ② There are many insects because it is in the mountains ③ But it feels unusual! Because there's no one there. →I think it would be okay if I brought insect repellent spray and mosquito coils. I was sleeping in my car, so there were no problems. Docomo signal 3~4☺️ No problem!

It's located at the end of a narrow road, with a fork in the road, so it's a bit difficult to find if you don't get there in daylight.Although the restrooms are not clean, it is a free campsite where you can park your car.

This is a free campsite. I think it's a good idea to bring electricity for the toilet. I didn't have any paper so I brought it with me. I'm the type to flush it out because it's like cancer because it's so absent-minded. There is a disabled toilet, but the toilet seat is black. The water is mountain water, so you can't drink it. Bring drinking water. It is convenient because it can be attached to the side of the car, but please be careful as it can only hold about 10 tensions. There is also an arbor and kitchen. It depends on the weather, but the starry sky is beautiful at night.Since there are places where the ground is hard, I think forged or titanium pegs would be better. As for the radio waves, au doesn't work, depending on where you set up, but I think it's okay with Docomo.

Climb up the mountain while looking at the scenery of Satoyama, and you'll find a pond. Turn right at the end and you'll find the road to the campsite. There is a kitchen and a stove. The toilet is also equipped with a toilet and has a simple flush toilet. You can auto camp in a quiet mountain area.

A campsite in a small forest. If the first user is a solo user, it will be for solo users only (10 people will be enough), and if the user is a group, it will be for groups only (5 groups is the limit). There are water stations (including toilets), but there is no guarantee that they will be available. It's definitely better to bring it. The guide will take you on a path that winds through villages that are difficult to pass by, but if you cross the bridge near the Hirota Fire Department branch and immediately turn left, you can reach the campsite along a wide road. Please be sure to take all garbage (including charcoal) home with you. There are noticeable violations of etiquette, such as charcoal and other garbage being thrown away behind the washing area.

A nice and quiet place. It's close to Matsuyama, it's free, you can park your car next to it, there's a kitchen, and there's no problem except for the toilet. The toilet is a pump type and is quite dirty. Toilet paper is replenished, so it seems like it's under control. I often use the disabled toilet (pump type), but even though it's Western style, the toilet seat is disgustingly dirty, so I have to put my butt in the air.If you are camping in the winter in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend using the water rinsing method, as it will freeze and stop flowing!Since there are many solo regulars, it is OK if you have a small group of campers⛺️. People who come as a group camper should avoid this place. Please be quiet.
