It's gorgeous! The room is comfortable and relaxing. Five different private baths you can choose from, though you may have to wait when they're occupied. The facilities are great and staff are so polite.

There is no large public bath, but there are various types of small open-air baths that can be reserved for private use, so it was fun (^_^)I enjoyed my meal by the hearth and felt really relaxed. The people at the hostel were warm and I would like to come back again.

I was very satisfied with each of the private baths.Of course, the food and cleanliness are impeccable. We also had photos taken during the meal and on the way home. Also, in my opinion, the cost performance is very good.

Stayed 1 night, the hotel facilities are quite new and the surroundings is nice and quiet. The private onsen is often free when we stayed and the food was great.

Prices at all hot spring inns go up a lot during the New Year holiday, but this one had a reasonable setting, and the rooms and food looked good, so I made a reservation hoping to enjoy a snow-viewing bath.Although it was a mild winter and there was no snow, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the hot springs. I stayed in a room called Yusen. It's 19 tatami mats, so it's spacious, there's a garden, and there's a kotatsu in the winter, so you can relax in a modern Japanese style.Dinner is served in each room at a private dining room, and the main dish is grilled Joshu beef served on a lava plate, with more and more items than you can finish. It's not exquisite, but the quality is more than adequate considering the price. There are many types of alcohol, including local sake and shochu. There are five small (semi-) open-air baths, and you can use them at any time you like, and there are no reservations or strict time limits. A system that works because it is a small inn. It's empty especially late at night, and the atmosphere is great. However, when I took a few baths, I found some of them to be quite lukewarm in the open air. The spring quality is smooth and odorless.I thought it would be nice to have a free coffee machine and rent yukatas, but the large sizes had flashy patterns for women, and the XL had dark colored patterns but were too big. I was also looking forward to the massage machine in the room, but perhaps it was broken and the massaging and tapping were too weak and had no effect at all. Also, the only place to go around is Lake Akatani, so it's pretty unassuming. You might want to consider extending your legs to Minakami or Yuzawa.
