This is a very cheap inn in Kusatsu Onsen, but it is a quiet inn with a long history. Lots of period furniture. There are basically no amenities (if you need them, they will provide one for you for a fee; the yukata cost 300 yen), but you have to bring your own futon, but the room is clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but in winter they probably provide a fan heater. The bath is small, but the hot water is made from 100% Yubatake hot springs. There was also a souvenir shop with two types of homemade steamed buns available for tea. The grandpa is the storekeeper and the grandma is at the inn's counter, creating a soft and heartwarming atmosphere. There is a shared refrigerator and microwave, so if you don't want to eat out, you can bring your own food. It's a very nice inn. It was also perfect for sightseeing as it was a 5 minute walk to Yubatake.

R06.09 Visited again. It's still a wonderful inn.Although the facilities are old and the service is minimal in a good sense, the overall cozy atmosphere makes you want to come back again and again.I had the impression that I was visiting a relative's aunt's house, and the quality of the hot springs was good, and the price was reasonable, so I would like to visit again.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーThis is a relaxing inn. It felt like I was visiting a relative's auntie's house, so I didn't have to worry too much. Unlike hotels, I was very grateful to be able to bathe in a hot spring with good ingredients 24 hours a day. The price was low and it was very good. However, it is not barrier-free, so please be careful if you have difficulty walking. Also, depending on the plan, amenities may not be provided, so you will need to bring your own towels and toothbrushes.

It was a nice and quiet place, close to Yubatake and the bus terminal, and a convenience store nearby.I want to go back to this inn that feels like the Showa era!

We stayed for 3 nights in July.Since it is an old-fashioned inn, both the inside of the inn and the rooms (Japanese-style rooms) are not as comfortable as a hotel, but considering the price, location, and the fact that it has a hot spring sourced from Yubatake, I think it is an inn with the best cost performance and that I would like to stay again. I did. Both the landlady and the host were kind and very approachable.Thank you for your help. thank youThe manju was delicious.

It was a wonderful stay. The host was also very polite and explained the process.Although it was very cheap, the room was clean. We visited in late July and there was no air conditioner! I was surprised, but this area is cool at night so there is no problem at all. It's as comfortable as Nobita's room.Other large, new buildings are also ventilated with screen doors, so it's probably so cool that there's no concept of air conditioning, although it's hot during the day.I would like to use it again when I come to Kusatsu.

An old-fashioned inn with a rich history. It's like staying overnight without meals. There are no self-catering facilities. There is a communal refrigerator. Only shared toilets are available. There is a bath sourced from the Yubatake source. There is no open-air bath. It's located on a back street in the center of Kusatsu Onsen, near Yubatake, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and souvenir shops nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal or shopping. Tajimaya itself also has a souvenir shop attached. However, there is no air conditioning. Originally, Kusatsu Onsen was at a high altitude, so there was no need for air conditioning even in the summer, but due to climate change, it has become quite hot recently, so it can be quite difficult to get out of the bath during bright hours. Still, it's a valuable inn where you can stay cheaply and easily, so I hope they continue to do their best.

The location is great. There are no amenities such as towels, and there is a separate heating fee depending on the season. Recommended for people who like to cook their own meals but can't sleep in their car. The bath is quite nice. When I stayed for several nights, I was given amanatto with flower green beans.

It's very cheap. It's convenient because it's close to the bus terminal, and the hot water at the inn is good because it comes straight from the source. However, it is an old building, so it is not suitable for people who are concerned about noise.

I'm a repeater. As far as I know, the hot springs are the best in Kusatsu. The atmosphere of the building has a retro feel, and it is perfect for those who like and want to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. I think the experience will become a memorable one! As with anywhere, if there are noisy customers, I think the noise will be a concern. Even in places that are considered to be luxury hotels, you can hear the noise, so it may be a matter of luck if you can stay at a time when there are no such guests. I found the hot springs so good that I soaked them in so much that I fell asleep. The location is great for touring Kusatsu, and you can come and go as many times as you like to enjoy the hot spring fields and shopping. Guests will receive a discount on souvenirs, so don't forget to buy them here 💞
