An inn with a calm atmosphere located in a quiet area a little away from the stone steps. The highlight is that you can use three types of private baths on a first-come, first-served basis at no additional charge. The food is also very filling and satisfying. All the staff were kind and provided great service.

I was disappointed when I asked a question and got no reply. I won't be using it in the future

The building has an atmosphere reminiscent of the good old Showa era, and I felt the unpretentious hard work of the manager and all the employees. I stayed in a room with a bath, but the private bath was better than I expected, and I think it would have been better not to have a bath. Sometimes I would be surprised to see a 🕷️ spider that looked like a pitch black black skein, but this is also one of my memories. The food was also delicious. 😊And thank you to the guy in charge of serving the food for taking a photo with me. Keep up the good work 👍

It was an inn where I felt the most ``hospitality'' of my life.I was truly impressed by the customer service and consideration of the staff from the moment I arrived until my departure. When I passed by a staff member inside the building, I was greeted so politely that I wondered, ``How long has it been since I've been greeted so deeply?''There were people from overseas working there, and I could see that they were working hard to serve customers, and that they were really well trained.Since I had booked a lodging on the day of my car trip, my plan was not to include dinner, so I went out to have dinner at Ikaho Ishidangai, but they took the trouble to drive me there and gave me some recommended restaurants. .I'm glad we had a great time at the restaurants you recommended. The breakfast was also luxurious and delicious, using plenty of local ingredients. There are 3 private hot spring baths that are free of charge, and couples can enjoy relaxing in the hot springs, which are also very satisfying. If you include the large communal bath, you won't be able to fit it all in 1 night or 2 days, so it gave me a reason to come again. In the lounge, you can play Super Nintendo, you can rent table tennis, and there are other facilities that would be fun if you stay in a group.Since a considerable amount of time has passed since the establishment, the building itself is a bit old in places, but this also gives it a feeling of ``elegance.''I also enjoyed drinking freshly brewed coffee while listening to records in the lounge before my departure in the morning.I had the best experience, like the customer service at a Five Star Hotel with added humanity. This is the kind of inn you'll want to come back to soon.Thank you very much.I will definitely come again!Recommended.

It's the worst. When I entered the bath, I encountered a male cleaner cleaning the women's bath without a sign during bathing hours. Impossible. I was actually going to take a bath for women during normal bath hours, so no matter how you look at it, the male cleaning staff's response was strange. A man is cleaning the women's bath during the time when bathing instructions are posted without putting up a sign saying that the bath is being cleaned. Don't the people at this inn think that's strange? The inn manager who thinks that's okay is also strange. When I told the front desk, they said that cleaning may be done during breakfast time. Even though it is unlikely that people will come during breakfast time, will male cleaners normally clean the women's baths during the designated bath time? In fact, I can't understand how the inn doesn't think that's strange. This is the first time I have had such an unpleasant experience while staying at a hotel. I think people who stay here should be really careful. A fun trip was ruined.postscriptThe owner responds quickly to good reviews but ignores bad reviews. Even though the inn was clearly at fault, they didn't even show an attitude of apologizing. Given this attitude, I felt that the management of this inn was not showing any signs of improvement, making it a very disappointing inn.

I stayed at this inn on August 12th and 13th.As I climbed up a narrow, slightly uneven road, I found Ichikawa Bekkan Ryokan. The appearance of the inn is a bit old-fashioned, but the customer service is excellent and the food is delicious and plentiful. You can enjoy three private baths for free, and since it was my birthday, they gave me a room with a great view. This is an inn that truly supports the service and the sincerity of the people. It inherits the spirit passed down from ancient times in Japan. I felt happy to be able to stay at such a heartwarming inn.
