Visited after finishing business in Shibukawa. If you are coming south from the Shibukawa area, please turn right at the Toiyacho intersection. Right turns are prohibited at the Mercury Hotel intersection one block south. It seems that if you make a mistake, a police car 🚓 will often be waiting at the end of the turn. It was still stopped that day.The elderly woman at the reception gave a good explanation and there was a welcome drink service. The large communal bath next to the reception desk has separate hours for men and women, but it is a well-cleaned large communal bath with a sauna, and the cold bath is similar to Shiraito Falls and an open-air bath. On the day of my visit, there was cold lemon water available. The room was clean and slippers with insoles were provided. Breakfast was also delicious.

This is my first visit, but I found a good accommodation.I went there by motorcycle, but it was empty, so I parked it in the covered car space. The room wasn't small, but had enough space to unpack, the bath was large and had a sauna, and breakfast was served. It was really delicious. For dinner, I went to a restaurant called ``Iianbai'' run by a former biker. (It was delicious.)Looks like it will become a regular lodging in the Maebashi area.

This is my usual place to stay when touring in the Gunma area.○Good points① It's easy to make reservations at a low price, and you can cancel the day before.Especially since you can cancel up to the day before, it's very convenient to make a reservation in advance. (Sorry about the hotel staff)②Bath with sauna and cold bath. The sauna is a small room that can fit 3 people, but it's hot enough and not humid, so the upper level will make your skin tingle. The water bath is located semi-outdoors behind the door, and it usually feels like 20 degrees, but when I went there in February, it felt like 10 degrees and my feet were numb.I think it's good to have a variety of jacuzzis and hot springs. From 8:00 to 10:00, the women's bath will be used in shifts.③Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby.A convenience store is a 2-minute walk away, and there are a selection of restaurants along the street. I would recommend Ichibankan's ramen and half fried rice.④Relatively close to Maebashi IC.If you go north, you can also use Komayose Smart. It is also easy to go to Haruna and Akagi on the lower road.⑤Indoor equipment that allows you to reach itchy areas. There is a tray or table that can be placed next to the bed, which is very convenient as you can place various things on it. A vertical tissue box is also a good space saver. The sold Tempur-Pedic mat also feels good.⑥If you arrive early, you can park in the space under the building. There is space under the building for several cars so you can park your car and avoid getting wet in the rain.○Rival next door? Comparison with accommodation. There is space under the building, sauna and cold bath (the public bath was closed the last time I stayed next door, so I don't know what it is like now), prices are often cheap, and the windows are blocked. The advantages include the indoor equipment, the small size of the building, and the ease of movement.○Not good points. The retro elevator on the south side doesn't have a close button, so you end up pushing the open button when you try to close it, and there's a delicate moment before it closes when you share the elevator with someone else. Also, having to take turns bathing may be inconvenient for some people. (There is also a room bath)I don't want to write too many good things about it and make it difficult to make a reservation, but I highly recommend this hotel.
