I enjoyed solo camping at a forest site. The site was very well maintained and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by giant trees.

I have used the cottage before. You will be healed by the quiet environment away from the city and the beautiful nature. Most cooking utensils are provided, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. I was told that mountain water came out of the faucet, so I made boiled tofu and cooked rice, and it was really delicious. I was surprised that the tea I brought had a completely different taste than usual. At night, you can enjoy a starry sky. The manager carefully explained the facilities, etc., and even though I was not used to staying in the mountains, I was able to stay with peace of mind. thank you very much.

The road along the way was quite rough. (Under repair work) However, when we arrived, a cozy campsite was waiting for us.The road from Hitoyoshi is currently closed due to construction. There is a detour via Ichifusa Dam, but we recommend using a 4WD if possible. It's been quite a rough road.By the way, I was driving a Nissan Clipper (light cargo vehicle, rear two-wheel drive) with two adults, and around the mountain pass it was in full first gear. The road near the road repair area was quite thrilling. At the campsite, we used the forest site.It happened to be a private campsite, but it was a comfortable campsite. We were told that we should be careful about mountain leeches, ticks, pit vipers, and bees.We recommend learning how to deal with this and then having a fun camping experience. The manager is kind.We were also informed of road information in advance and were given directions via Yamato Town and Gokase Town.

Family trip with 2 adults and 2 children.I stayed at the cottage for 2 nights and 3 days. It is a place rich in nature, and May is the season of fresh greenery, so the greenery all over the mountain was beautiful. The cottage itself is beautifully built, and the view from the room is amazing, surrounded by beautiful trees! The interior of the room also had a warm feeling due to the wooden materials and orange lighting. The kitchen is also clean (I appreciate that hot water is always available!)We had plenty of bedding provided, so the whole family was able to sleep comfortably and soundly (^o^)There was a place to throw away raw garbage, but other garbage was basically taken home, so it might be difficult for people staying for a long time (^o^;Although we had some troubles on the way to the cottage this time, it was a very good trip.thank you.

I went there because the reviews said that you can enter the site by pushing the bike, but now you can't get there and you have to carry your luggage. It's a quiet place, but there are no repeats!
