This place is a hidden gem. The home-cooked meals, simple but really satisfying. The flavors are well-balanced. The staff is also very friendly, making the whole experience comfortable and welcoming. It’s tucked away, but definitely worth finding if you’re in the area.

Visited with my wife for lunch on the way back from sightseeing at Cape Toi.Having almost conquered the ramen and meat udon restaurants in Miyazaki City, I visited Kushima City, the southernmost part of Miyazaki Prefecture, for some sightseeing.I ordered a small portion of ramen and meat udon.ramen. Ramen that contains wakame, which is rare in Miyazaki.I don't think it's an exaggeration to call it pork bone soy sauce ramen.Soft medium-thick noodles. The char siu was soft and delicious 😊Meat noodles. The meat is tender and perfect with seaweed and tempura sauce😊The soup stock was a little bitter🤔, but it was delicious😊I guess they made the soup stock with grilled fish 🤔My wife also raved about how delicious this slightly bitter soup was😊The chicken nanban set meal of a customer who visited after us was huge, and my wife said it looked really delicious😊The price for the small size was not listed on the menu (we may have overlooked it), but the total was ¥1000.It was one coin 😊It was delicious 😊 Thank you for the meal 🙏P.S.On Google Maps, it looks like an accommodation facility, but currently (May 2024) there are no accommodations available.They say it's not possible.

The old-fashioned diner has grown into a larger restaurant, and the food is good. Now, his wife, who is 60 years old, is working hard to take over her husband's life, and is managing the family business with his son and his wife, who died three years ago. I heard from a young student that the recommended dish was the chicken nanban, but other dishes such as stir-fried vegetables and katsudon are also delicious.

I came to the store drenched in sweat after walking around the nearby fields and mountains on part-time research work under the scorching sun of 34 degrees Celsius.This was my first visit in more than 20 years since I came to Soba's Agricultural Cooperative Branch for rice inspection.It was after 1pm, so I was the only one at the table.In the past, the ``grilled fish set meal'' made from dried fish that had been dried overnight was delicious, but now that the restaurant is new, the menu has changed, so I ordered the ``chicken nanban set meal.''Tartar sauce has a strong "sour" taste that has a strong mayonnaise taste, and you may not like it or dislike it, but I like it (lol).Because of the strong flavor, the rice goes through the rice, and even though there's about half of the chicken left, the rice disappears (lol).I'm not sure when my next meal will be, but I head back home with the intention of eating a well-balanced and clean meal this time.
