[The real ☆ is at the end of the sentence]This is a guesthouse where you can experience "participating in a gathering of distant relatives."When I went to the house of a distant relative at the end of the Obon holidays, an elderly woman in her 80s greeted me and said, ``Nice to see you here.'' Even though it was almost the first time we had met, she spoke to me in a friendly manner. You must be tired from your long journey, so he tells you that your room is on the second floor and guides you up the steep stairs while rubbing your lower back. As expected from the countryside. I was pleased with the spacious tatami room, which was probably 20 tatami mats in size for the living room and bedroom, but with a smile on my face, I was told, ``This is your allotment,'' and was led to a small room in the back, about 6 tatami mats in size, partitioned off by a sliding door. If you lay out 3 futons, there is no place to store your luggage. What about the room across the partition? When I asked about it, I was told that another family was staying there."Huh?" Time stops. The wife of a relative whose name I didn't know who was staying next door when I arrived later had the same reaction. Furthermore, the living room, which is a 10-tatami-mat luggage storage area in the front, is shared. All guests staying on the second floor use it. In fact, it's actually a hallway because you have to walk through it to access the shared toilets and washrooms.I have no choice. Today is a gathering of distant relatives. We were reminded that there was a set time for dinner, and we all started at 6pm. When I arrived at the hotel at the last minute at 6pm, I had no time to catch my breath. I was careless.I was confused as to where the dining room was, but I arrived at it relying on the smell. There are home-cooked meals prepared by a relative who worked as a chef. There's no special local feel or extravagance, but it's reassuring to have a familiar taste of food served even when you're traveling. The portions are just right and you can enjoy a drink in your room after the meal. At the cafeteria, I was often offered rare sake, but I was in the mood for beer, so I toasted with bubbles. Now, the fun part of traveling is drinking local sake purchased along the way and chatting with your companions until the date changes. But soon the voices of distant relatives on the other side of the sliding door fell silent. They probably have plans for tomorrow. When they go to bed, we have no choice but to join them. I grieved for the rest of the sake and went to bed.I have no choice. Today is a gathering of distant relatives.Mornings in the countryside are early. There was some noise and people were getting ready for the morning, but since I went to bed at 10 o'clock, the early morning didn't bother me. Breakfast is also served all at the same time. Thank you for the meal.Pack your bags and head to your next destination. We had a fun experience of ``playing together with distant relatives''.The gold note I gave my grandmother as a thank you for the experience was 10,500 yen/person.----I arrived at this inn through a method of elimination based on time and location. There are many reviews with 1 star rating. Many of them are old, but that's true. Thanks to advance information from Google reviews, I was able to get through the night without worrying about anything. Below is information about the accommodation. All facilities other than futons, TV, and air conditioning are shared. The bedroom is a large room separated by sliding doors. I can hear all the whispers. The prices of drinks in the cafeteria are not clearly stated. Two medium bottles cost 2,900 yen.Air conditioner fee is 300 yen per person. You will be charged for the number of people in the room, regardless of the number of people in the room. A must in the summer. I don't have the courage to leave the door open in the hallway where other people are roaming and let the sea breeze flow through. The toilet is Japanese style.Towels are spread all over the bath changing room. This is not a waterproof or water-repellent floor. There are no slippers in the facility. There is one for the toilet. There are no low tables in the room. There is one outlet in the room.Advance payment must be sent by registered mail. Even after sending the item, I have not received any notification that the payment has been received, which was specified. When I called, they said they had forgotten.Remaining balances can only be settled in cash. We don't have change ready, so it will take some time to settle the bill. The parking lot is gravel. If you say it's a guesthouse, there's nothing wrong with it. However, it is the worst guesthouse for me. I gave it a ☆2 because I knew this hotel and stayed there. I will never use it again and I will never pass it on to anyone.

Dirty guesthouse and unsanitary. There were no slippers in the building, and old men were walking around barefoot, drenched in sweat before taking a bath. Moreover, the red fluffy floor, which I don't know how many years ago it had been cleaned, was so dirty and disgusting that it gave me goosebumps. I was surprised that they were made to walk here barefoot. Also, the floor was unbelievably loud and the guests were buzzing! ! The sound of footsteps woke me up immediately and I couldn't get back to sleep. The staff at this inn also check out at 6 o'clock and start cleaning the guest's rooms from 6 o'clock. Once again, it's 6am. What are you thinking? Is it too late to clean after guests check out? Can't you at least do it at 8 o'clock instead of 6 o'clock? Why not lie down in your room and see how much the floor resonates? You can hear the voices in the next room. Even though smoking was prohibited, I was still smoking. The facilities and services are at a level below that of a guesthouse. The bathroom was also dirty, so no matter what you do, I can't recommend this place. If you search for ``Murakami Minshuku,'' you will find many other accommodations. Please select "Other than here". It will be a stain on your trip. Also no tissues in the room. How stingy are you?

If your knee hurts, offer to help.An additional fee of 500 yen per person was charged for renting a chair and a futon. You can also turn on the air conditioner without permission and it costs 300 yen per person.☆I don't want to give anything away!

I visited you a few years ago. Auntie, Ita-san, all of them were nice people. The food was also delicious. I also stayed at a hot spring inn across the street, but this one definitely felt better. I want to go again. By the way, this is a guest house, so it's for people who can just shut their eyes and have a nice conversation with the lady. It's sure to be a memorable trip. We cannot recommend this hotel to people who are looking for inn-like services or who are particular about cleanliness.

I made a reservation on the hotel's website about two months before my stay, and when I went there on the day I received a confirmation email from the hotel, I found that my son, who was house-sitting, had no idea that I was staying there. What's going on with this inn? Even though I asked him to send the person in charge, he kept insisting that he was out and wouldn't even call me. I made a reservation with 2 meals included, but will I get a decent meal like this? I was glad that I was able to call a nearby hotel and stay there. I sent a reply to my reservation email asking if there was any apology, but there was no reply. I travel over 30 nights a year, but this is the first time I've stayed in a hotel like this. Please be careful. ☆ is negative. There was no telephone, though. Are you misleading me? There is no record of a call from the inn in my cell phone's call record! It's a really terrible inn.I was stunned❗️
