This hotel is near Echigo Tokimeki Railway Takada Station.I think the distance from the station square to one or two bus stops is fine. There are very few places to eat late at night, so if you are using public transportation, we recommend that you consider doing some shopping along the way. There are several convenience stores nearby, but it will take some time to walk there. The building looked a little worn out over the years, but there were no problems with functions such as air conditioning and hot water supply, and I didn't notice any noise when I went to bed.The refrigerator is not very small, so it is useful for storing food and drinks, and the WiFi was also practical.I had booked a single room, but it was nice that there was a sofa on one side of the twin room where the bed had been removed, so I could relax. As other people have reviewed, there are some concerns about the hallways, so I thought this hotel would be suitable for people who value practicality.

I used it for the first time aiming for "Takada World Museum". The room was surprisingly spacious for a single room, and the location was comfortable, close to the station and close to an izakaya restaurant (reservations required). I went to see the lotuses in the moat early in the morning, and was overwhelmed by the scale of the lotuses, and enjoyed walking around town. 🍶We plan to visit again during the new sake season.

Used on a poor trip with 18 tickets. It was enough for an old man who grew up in the Showa era.The room is spacious. It's a little walk from the station. It was a place that would have been an entertainment district in the past.

It's located at the edge of the restaurant area around Takada Station, so you'll want to comment, "Which part is central?" Moreover, it has a worn out appearance and many of the common areas are worn out. The photos posted by the hotel on Google Maps look glittering, but they are more like photos taken from an arranged retreat, and the real thing looks like it is in the process of being turned into a ruin. One of the two elevators is prohibited for use. There used to be a large public bath with a sauna, but this is now closed, with only a sign left near the coin laundry. However, it's cheap anyway.Nowadays, accommodation costs are rising significantly (as of 2024), and staying for less than 4,000 yen per night is a bargain. If you're in a position where you can get a receipt, I'd recommend staying somewhere a little more clean, but if you're traveling on a shoestring and paying for it yourself, it's a safe bet. There are no specific inconveniences as long as you only need to eat and sleep in the accommodation.
