I was healed by everything about the ryokan. The food was delicious, the sake was delicious, and it was a very satisfying trip. When I explored the courtyard in the morning, the morning sun came in and the bamboo glowed, which was cool. The breakfast looked surprisingly ordinary, but it was a Japanese restaurant where you can stay overnight. It reminded me of the deliciousness of white rice with a side dish that was so delicious that I had to order a second helping.

I stayed at Takashimaya for one night. It was a historic building, but it wasn't very well kept and the table tops were dirty. It would have been nice if it had been kept well-maintained even though it was old, but...it was a bit disappointing. Both dinner and breakfast were ordinary, and the tableware was not particularly good, so it was a typical hot spring inn meal.As a woman, the amenities were not well stocked. It was a disappointing feeling overall.

Used only for meals.Everything from guiding the car in the parking lot, to being greeted upon arrival, to being guided through the facility, and to the attentiveness of the staff while we were eating, all seemed to be accurate, courteous, and extremely reliable. I heard that it is a very historic inn. This can be seen in the actions of each staff member. I would like to use it for a stay next time.

I could see from the TV news that people were suffering greatly from the recent two earthquakes. However, I would like you to consider this as a citizen's way of thinking.Although the news kept telling us that it was safe, who would want to plan a trip to an area that was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude 5 or above? Even locals are living in fear, so travelers from other prefectures and overseas may feel even more scared. There are no absolutes when it comes to natural disasters. The earthquake occurred just as the lingering coronavirus pandemic was ending and normal year-end and New Year holidays were returning to normal, so I can understand the frustration of not being able to increase sales as expected. However, even though these are difficult times, I think it would have been better to gently appeal to them by saying, ``When the weather gets better and the earthquakes subside, please come visit us anytime.'' If you are too impatient to pursue profit, you will not be able to expect good results. I think all accommodation facilities are experiencing the same hardships.I felt a little disappointed since I was supporting them at a long-established local inn. This is not to say that all hotels and restaurants in Niigata Prefecture are like this, but I can't help but feel that Niigata Prefecture's accommodations and restaurants become sloppy when celebrities visit and are featured in the media.

This was my second stay. I enjoyed both visits. The last time I stayed Take-tei and I like that room much better. This time was a standard room, it is fine still. Their food is excellent and has a large public area that is equipped with some beverage service. The bath itself is kind of mundane.
