I envy the Bunkyo residents who can stay here cheaply. The hot springs are nice, and the food isn't luxurious, but it's heartwarming and delicious. Needless to say, the rice is delicious. It's close, so I'd like to feel free to stay the night when I want to relax. Candidate for regular lodging

Although the facility is undeniably old, it offers homely hospitality.

Three of us stayed in a Japanese-style room as a pre-climb.It's cheap at 8,500 yen, including 2 meals in the evening and breakfast. People in Bunkyo Ward pay 5,500 yen, which is very cheap. The rooms have shared toilets, baths, and sinks. I was staying with my climbing friends, so this was better. The room is a normal Japanese-style room with just enough room. There was also a refrigerator. There are no toothbrushes or razors (purchased at the front desk), but I don't usually use the crappy ones at accommodations, so this isn't a problem.Although it is a hot spring, it has been thoroughly disinfected with chlorine, but I guess this can't be helped.Meals can be eaten at any time in the cafeteria, so that you can finish eating between 18:00 and 20:00.I thought it would be a set meal based on the price, but it was really good and delicious.Although it looks simple at first glance, there are local dishes and local ingredients that give you a Niigata feel. The rice and miso soup are delicious and live up to the Uonuma name!I wanted to eat breakfast too, but I couldn't because I was climbing early in the morning. But here, the rice balls are made the night before instead of breakfast. Kelp, pickled plums, and 3 pieces of okakata are delicious.I bought the rice balls at the convenience store the night before and when I ate them in the morning, they were all crumbly, but I ate the ones here at 4pm and they had one left, and they were still delicious. The customer service is very good, and the price is too low for this food, so I will come again.

Residents of Bunkyo can stay there cheaply, so I would like to travel alone on my bike if I have another chance.

It's designated as a recreational facility in Bunkyo Ward, so it's surprisingly cheap to use.Since it is close to the Sea of Japan, the head chef will make you eat delicious fish. This is unnecessary, but local sake is delicious even if it is unknown.

It seems like an old inn, but it's clean and the staff are all very kind! The rice was also delicious and I could see that they had made it with local ingredients. It's not a flashy dish, but it was perfect for elderly people and people who like alcohol to enjoy while having a quick drink. It may be a little unsatisfactory for young people. The temperature of the bath is just right, and they provide towels in different colors so you don't mix them up with the people in your room.It was a comfortable stay with just the right amount of food, baths, and customer service.
