I used it at a day trip hot spring.Because the hot springs are highly alkaline,It's like a thick lotion. It's slippery and you need to be careful not to fall.

I stayed at GW. Although it is a hot spring inn with an old history, the interior has been beautifully renovated. The hot springs are alkaline hot springs, and the hot spring showers will leave you feeling smooth and your skin silky smooth. The food was well seasoned, especially the seasonal wild vegetable tempura. Also, being from Niigata, the rice was excellent.Personally, I was disappointed that I couldn't feel the atmosphere of the past even though it's an inn with a long history, but I like it there. It was a very clean and comfortable inn.
