We stayed as a family of 5 (couple, 6 year olds, 3 year olds, and 4 year olds) for 2 nights and 3 days. It was an exciting, fun and very satisfying stay where I was able to experience an extraordinary experience with the food, the view from the room, the bath, and the customer service from the NZ host!We had a full course dinner made with local ingredients and a NZ breakfast. All of the dishes were colorful and carefully prepared and presented, and I was enchanted by the beautiful dishes♡ Both my heart and stomach were satisfied.The family room, which accommodates 5 people, has a step stool for children, which was very helpful for us with an infant when using the sink and toilet.In addition, there is a child's chair in the private bath, so you can feel safe when taking a bath with your child.When it comes to meals, infants can be prepared on a child's plate, and they should be brought first. I was very grateful that they were kind enough to come over, which alleviated the stress of eating out with young children and allowed us to enjoy our meals with peace of mind.The inn's signboard son and daughter were very cute, and they quickly became friends with our children and played with them. We had warm memories that were even better than staying at an inn, and the whole family was very satisfied. I am.This is a very warm and recommended inn that I would like to visit again someday in a different season.

Beautiful Lodge close to lots of great ski areas. Myoko just 30 minutes away. I have stayed here twice and love it. Warm hospitality from Hayden and Saki and the food cooked by Saki's mother is amazing. Will be back next year hopefully. Ben

I went there with my family of 3 for Obon.The breakfast and dinner meals were delicious, the room was clean, and the Wi-Fi environment was good, so I had a stress-free stay.The couple was lovely and their children were cute! !

Nice and cozy hotel/cottage owned by a very kind family. Pets allowed cottage. Neighborhood is very warm and nice people.
Great place for resting after day activities in Shinano machi, Nagano, especially water sports at Nojiri lake.

The atmosphere of the owner was quite nice.There were not enough types of amenities, the bathroom was filled with the smell of sewage probably because it hadn't been used for a while, and when I woke up the next morning, I found insect bites and there were dust mites living on the futon.

I stayed at White Tree Lodge in Nagano around New Year's Day. It looked very beautiful and felt like home. The ski resort Tangram is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk away. I stayed for 2 nights, breakfast and dinner included, and the room and food were good. We had a choice of dinner and were satisfied with the dishes we chose each night. Breakfast was Western style, with a slightly different menu each morning. The room was bigger than I expected and I was able to relax. I will definitely stay there again!

Awesome "ski in ski out" lodge. Just a 3-4 min walk to the slope, and you can ski all the way back. Buy lift tickets at the lodge for discount and skipping the lines.It's not fancy but has everything you need, including a dining hall/low key bar with great food.The owners were amazing and we had a great time.

I used it for skiing at the beginning of the year. It's about a 10 minute walk to the ski slopes, and you can also purchase lift tickets for Tangram Madarao here. For dinner, you can choose from 4 to 5 dishes each day, so I looked forward to it every night.The room is clean, but there is no bathroom, so that's a shame. (Each room has its own shower room) However, you can get a ticket to the public bath at a nearby hotel, so if you want to stretch your legs and take a bath, go there.

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas week 2021! Hayden and Saki are fantastic hosts who made us feel right at home. We traveled with our four children (16, 15, 7, & 5). The lodge is right next to Tangram and Hayden was able to help us with ski lessons for our 7 y/o and lift tickets. The meals were 10 stars, kid friendly, and multiple options. We are so thankful we stumbled upon such amazing hosts. Our kids were upset about leaving (and so we’re the adults ;-) ) if you are planning to enjoy the snow in Nagano look no further than White Tree Lodge!

We stayed for one night with 6 adults including relatives, 1 child, and 1 Shiba Inu, and it was a very comfortable space where we could relax as a family. Unfortunately it was raining heavily, but this is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

The white tree lodge is a great place to stay.|Near from Tangram ski resort, you can go skiing by foot or car and stay in a calm and peaceful place. It is perfectly clean and warm, the log house is incredible! Very warm welcome and helpful owners!

A lovely lodge.I used it last year and gave up on it this year. There were some foreigners staying there, and they were doing cool things in front of the inn, so I got it. A child-friendly accommodation. It's a lovely lodge.I want to go again.

A lodge run by a lovely couple. We had a series of incidents, such as a change in the number of people the day before and late arrival on the day, but we were very grateful for your kind support. And above all, the food was delicious and I was impressed! We chose the locally produced and locally consumed course, and all of the dishes were so original that we wondered what would come next. I enjoyed it. The breakfast was all delicious, and I was energized from the morning by the husband's cheerful customer service. I would like to express my gratitude to my friend who was leaving early in the morning and went out of his way to prepare a lunch box the day before. I would definitely like to stay here again when I come to Lake Nojiri!
