I stopped by after climbing Mt. Myoko. You can take a bath while looking directly at Mt. Myoko, which you just climbed, so you'll be glad you climbed it. I’m also happy about the 500 yen bathing fee 😄

It was my first time to take a day trip bath, but it wasn't crowded and I was able to take my time. The view was great and the view from the outside deck was also great 😆

Area where you can play in each seasonThe closest to Joetsu City in Myoko KogenAlthough the building is old, the interior is clean and the baths are nice! One of the hotels I would like to visit againAlso, when you stay at a vacation village, you accumulate points and can use them towards accommodation expenses, which is also attractive, and if you are a Monpel member you can receive free gifts.

I tour vacation villages all over the country. This time I came to Myoko Kogen, so I stayed at the nearby Kyukamura Myoko.[Residence]○ Off-season where you can spend quiet timeThe room was a 10 tatami Japanese style room, spacious and quiet with a relaxing atmosphere.Even though it's a cool plateau, we got a 1000 yen discount on the off-season rate.Inbound tourists from overseas are said to be few in the summer, while Westerners come to ski in the winter, and many people from Asia come to play in the snow.[Hot water] ○ Hot water full of cleanlinessThe hot springs are drawn from the source of Seki Onsen, and the hydrogen ion concentration is slightly acidic with a pH of 5.7, and the water is colorless, odorless, and very clean. There is no open-air bath, but the view from the indoor bath was wonderful, with a view of the ski slopes that looked like a green carpet.[Food] ○ Fresh local produce for local consumptionFor the meal, we upgraded to the summer Kanade course and enjoyed eel sushi, eel rolls, and eel balls steamed. In addition, there was plenty of Echigo beef shabu-shabu and Yamakoshi beef teppanyaki. There was a complete selection of alcoholic beverages to compare, with a wide variety to choose from, so we had a lot of fun.
