As of August 2024, accommodation fee is 2800 yen, dinner is 3500 yen separately. As for lodging, I have doubts about the quality for 2,800 yen. The food is sumptuous. I think it would be a good idea to refer to other people's photos.

Thank you for taking care of me on my bike trip in June! The food was good and the host had plenty of topics for conversation. Thanks to your support, I was able to successfully complete my subsequent bike trip around Japan! Thank you 🙇 From Amami Number 🌺

Rider House is an old inn, but the landlady is very personable.

I was looking for a memorable accommodation during my Hokkaido touring this year, and I came to this place. The dinner was sumptuous and we had a great time chatting with the host and other guests. I look forward to working with you again if you have the opportunity.

Great budget place. The only bedding available is a blanket, but for a budget tourist this is not a problem. The house is old but clean and with hospitable owners. Shower 300 Yen.

The location is a little difficult to find, but the price is cheap at 2800 yen!My mom is also a nice person!Taking a shower in the bath is so difficult! !But considering the priceI think those who complain should just go to a 7,000 yen business hotel lolLuxury meal for 3500 yen!

Mom and dad are really great people! I am healed by the kindness of both of you.The room was more than adequate for people who are used to Rider House!I wonder what the people who are complaining are looking for with this price (If they are complaining, why not just stay at a hotel?)It's such a nice inn that I don't want to tell anyone about it.It became a good memory of my trip.

This is the Rider House that I used when I went on a trip to Kushiro. When you hear Rider House, some people might imagine that only bikers can stay there, but this is an inn where anyone can stay.As it's called a Rider House, the price was cheap (when I stayed there, it was 1100 yen per night (no meals). Prices seem to go up a bit in the winter). However, it seems that the rooms may be shared without a futon (when I went there, luckily there weren't many people so I was able to stay in a private room). The room itself was very old, with only the bare minimum (I think there was no air conditioning, just an outlet and a light). The toilet and running water were in a shared space, and there was no bath at this inn.Prices are also kept to a minimum, so you want to keep your accommodation costs to a minimum! I think this is the perfect accommodation for those who want to stay. We do not recommend it to anyone else (those who want to stay in a decent inn).

The building is quite old and has some damage in many places.A friendly couple will welcome you.Dinner is expensive, and it's hard to find this kind of food at this price.A homely place.

I used it a few years ago when I went on my first Hokkaido tour.It had relatively good ratings in Google reviews, so I had high expectations. However, when I arrived, I was surprised to find that the entrance of the inn was not well organized. Worst of all, it was damp and smelled of musty, and it was so dark that you thought there were no lights in the room.I listened to a general explanation of the inn, but was told that there were not many guests that day, so I couldn't take a bath. (Additional charge if using shower)There was no bedding in the room, and I didn't bring a sleeping bag, so I headed to a nearby public bath and bought a sleeping bag, thinking it would be better than a Don Quijote, and got through the night. (The floor of the room was carpeted and had no elasticity, so it was so hard that I couldn't sleep even though I was tired.)Also, regarding the dinner, which has received good reviews. On the day we stayed, the host's son said he would pick him up from the airport to go home, and after serving two meals (a small amount of sashimi and a small side dish), the host departed. The host wanted to serve other dishes while we were talking, so the meal was stopped and we had to wait for over an hour. While waiting, while eating the small amount of food that was served, I was told about the work of the long-term residents, and the meal did not proceed. It was a difficult time from start to finish during my stay.Regarding baths and dinner, I don't think this will happen every time, but I think it would be better to consider whether to stay overnight considering that there will be days like this.It felt like a very unique inn, so I can't recommend it to beginners.I had high hopes for this place based on its reputation, but I will never use it again.
