It was a few minutes walk from Okachimachi Station and had good access, so I used it on a business trip.Check-in was easy since I had paid by credit card in advance. The room was a stable APA hotel, and two bottles of water were provided. There is only one elevator, so you may have to wait depending on the timing. It's right along the railroad tracks, so you can hear the train sounds from early morning. That sound was too harsh for me.

When I returned to my room on the day I had to clean my room, I found a crumpled toilet paper roll on the desk.

Unless there are special room types, the rooms in Apa Hotel are all similar, so there seems to be nothing special to say about the rooms. This time I specially selected the newly opened branch, but unexpectedly I encountered cockroaches😇I encountered the first cockroach on the last night of my stay, and then I saw another one (but I'm not sure if it was the same one as the previous one). I called the front desk staff and they came up and sprayed insecticide. However, because cockroaches appeared twice in a row, I felt that I could not have a good rest in this room. I asked the front desk staff, and the other person said that they could not help me change the room because it was full on Friday night, and it was impossible to change to the nearby apa hotel. Finally, the staff searched the room. I couldn't find the cockroaches, so I had to spray insecticide in my room again. As a result, the whole room was filled with the smell of medicine, and I couldn't get a good rest all night. Because of this last night, it turned out to be a very bad stay experience. Finally, the location of the hotel seems to be usable by many routes, but only Naka-Okachimachi Station on the Hibiya Line is close, and the other lines all require about 10 minutes' walk. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and the neighborhood does not look very clean. However, it is unexpected to see cockroaches in such a new hotel. People who pay attention to cleanliness should think carefully.

Hotel very well located as it is very close to visiting areas and with several metro stations nearby. The room is small but very complete and excellent service. The only "but" is that you have the train tracks very close and you can hear it continuously, although in our case it was not a negative thing.

The nearest Okachimachi Station (South Exit) is about a 5-minute walk and there is a convenience store opposite. The room is quite big and the single bed is not small (it should be a small double bed). The tram track is next to it, so it won't be too noisy. However, when sleeping, people who are afraid of noise still need earplugs.

IMPORTANT: THE HOTEL IS AKA UENO OKACHIMACHI EKIMAE MINAMINOTAPA EKIMAE UENOThey have a few APA in a small area and the names are similar. We went to the wrong hotel at first.Pros:Location: The location is excellent given jt was next to Ueno Station for the Ueno Park. To eat we have the Amoyo market at a few minutes. The Asakusa temple was nearby as well. It was a quiet hotel in a vivid emplacement.Washing machines were available.Cons:Size of the room: If you have expected small, it is even smaller than what you've imagined.Reception: no table of common areas for people to gather after a long day of exploration.Service: The personnel do not speak English. They have a machine to check in but since we got two rooms they got a mixed up and the machine has an error code but even though i told them, they didnt come to assist me and told me to wait. We waited for nothing for 15 minutes in front of the machines. They never apologized.I also wanted to leave two Suita cards ( metro pass) at the reception for my friends in the other room to come retrieve once they woke up from the jet lag but the receptionist refused.

The location was about 3 minutes from Okachimachi Station and was between Ueno and Akihabara, so it was easy to move around. The room was not that spacious, but the hygiene was good and the staff was friendly. You can leave your luggage in advance before check-in. The downside is that the station is really right in front of the train. It made a lot of noise, so it was okay for me as I'm a tolerant person, but it might bother people with sensitive skin. There's a Lawson convenience store right in front of the accommodation!

Paid for a room for a few days with check in at 3pm. First day in Tokyo and this hotel has made our first day here horrible. Came in at 7:20pm to check into our room but there is no room available yet and asked to wait. If we came at 3pm fine, but like 4.5 hours from our check in time. DO NOT BOOK. 15 hour flight and then commuting to this hotel for this to happen. All we got is sorry for the inconvenience. Horrible service and WASTE of travel time to wait around. Left starving and without a place to change or freshen up. This is not a hotel chain you should use. Our first night plans are ruined.

The front desk was compact and there were many people waiting to check in, but it was comfortable and didn't feel cramped. It felt crowded because there was only one elevator.
