BOOK THIS PLACE, look no further! We could not have loved our stay more at Asakusa Kaede. They are accomodating to English speakers and made us feel so welcome. The location is A+++ and couldn't be better for seeing Asakusa and neighboring cities. It's right next door to the main path of Senso-ji Temple, yet our street and the inn managed to feel quiet and all our own. It's located right in the middle of blocks of endless shopping and what feels like hundreds of restaurants and izakaya. The close proximity to Asakusa station let us visit the neighboring cities of Ginza and Akihabara very easily--multiple trips in a day were possible! And of course there's beautiful Senso-ji itself, which is magical in the early mornings and evenings before/after the crowds. The amenities were excellent with modern bathrooms and super comfy beds. Rooms were a good size and accomodated large luggage. The japanese breakfast was DELICIOUS and was made specially for us each morning at a time of our choosing. There's a lovely little sake and whisky bar downstairs waiting for you when you come back, too! A special thanks to Sindy for being a wonderful hostess. She helped us ship our luggage to Kyoto, but more importantly, she made us feel so welcome by visiting with us and sharing stories. We will be back someday if we could be so fortunate. Thank you, Asakusa Kaede family!!

Sindy the manager is very polite, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Thanks for your hospitality. Close walk to the Kaminarimon, shops, stalls, many train lines.
