Service is topnotch and the staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is very close to JR station and a variety of other famous attractions. During the weekends the surrounding area became lively with crowds from all over the place. It's a safe neighborhood with lots of nightlife. I like their breakfast the best. The room is the typical expected smaller room but it does have everything you need. The public hotspot/hot springs is very well maintained and relaxing. Definitely would come stay in the near future.

Personally, I was really satisfied with this accommodation!First of all, there was a female staff member at the reception who spoke Korean well, so check-in was easy, and overall the staff was friendly.The room is clean and comfortable! I was really satisfied with the Skytree view from my room.And a hot spring on the 12th floor? Large bath? It's really... the best. Be sure to use it at night.I took a half-body bath in the evening with the gentle breeze blowing in, and it was really nice to relieve all the fatigue!! Plus, there was beer in the vending machine and ice cream as a service, so I was 100% satisfied.There is also a comic book store next door. Overall, cleanliness is well maintained and convenience facilities and service space are good.It was close to the station, so it was easy to travel the next day. I had a good rest!

The price was reasonable, and I liked that the rooms were quite spacious compared to other business hotels. There was a bathhouse and sauna on the rooftop, which was great for relieving fatigue from traveling. It was also nice to be able to check the crowdedness of the bathhouse from the room.The room was quite spacious as it had a separate bedroom, bathroom, and entrance, and it was nice to have a variety of amenities. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was a lack of convenience facilities such as vending machines and coin laundry machines, and it was also disappointing that there was only one elevator in the entire building.The location is very good, with access to both Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station in about 5 minutes, so it is very convenient for travelers as they do not have to walk far with their luggage.

The biggest reasons to stay at Dormy Inn are breakfast and onsen.I don't know if it's because it's Tokyo or just the Ueno branch, but it was lower than I expected. (Onigiri is served as food at the branch... not so much)The only advantage is that the quality of the ice cream was good.Still, the staff's service was very friendly, so I give it a full star!

It can be seen that this hotel is a bit old, but the overall quality is still good. The rooms in the dormy inn are not too small, but the room has a musty/damp smell. I don't know if it's just me.The breakfast is delicious and there are fried shrimps. The hot spring has an open-air pool, but it is a bit small. Usually it can only be used by one person or two people. The biggest problem in the entire hotel is that there is only one elevator. During peak hours, you have to wait for that elevator, especially since the bathhouse and restaurant are at the top and the other at the bottom. Plus, the counter is on the second floor, so you have to check in/check out. You have to go to the second floor specially, and if you want to enter or leave the first floor with your luggage, you have to wait for the elevator again.The restaurant is a bit small and may be full during breakfast time. There were many bottles attached to the bathhouse in the morning when I picked them up. There were only a few bottles left, and it looked like they might be gone.The location is quite convenient. Ueno should be a convenient choice for many people to get in and out of the airport. After exiting Ueno Station, you still have to walk a short distance but it's not too far. But unless I have to stay in Ueno, I probably won’t stay here again. After experiencing dormy inn’s other relatively new hotels, I won’t consider this one again. I personally don’t mind walking, so I’d rather choose a place farther away from the station but with better quality. Good hotel. And the location is not on the main road, but hidden in a relatively small alley. Although there are many tourists in Ueno, Ueno is actually a bit chaotic late at night.
