The famous Oiwa Somen. Beautiful noodle strings that look like lines of silk. I was able to take a break in the heat.I'm also curious about the raw somen noodles next door, is there a difference? Kinryu seems to be popular, but what's the difference? The somen here was also delicious. In the Kanto region, it is eaten as a dipping sauce, so it felt novel.

Somen is delicious in the hot season! The taste was similar to the homemade somen soup I used to make at my parents' house, and it made me feel nostalgic.

Like Dangoya, it is located at the back of Mt. Oiwa Nisseki-dera Temple, and you can find it as soon as you pass the line at Kinryu, park your car at Nisseki-dera's free parking lot, and get off.The area where you write your name and wait is nice with lots of shade. There was no air conditioning in the store, and a refreshing breeze came in through the open windows. Eating cold somen in such a place is the best. This time I ordered "Kabosu Somen".A refreshing somen that is perfect for summer. The noodles were a little soft and the soup was light. The ``Kuzukiri'' I ordered with it was soft with a texture similar to Tokoroten, and was eaten with brown sugar syrup and soybean flour, but the smooth brown sugar syrup was delicious. Of course, the soybean flour was also delicious. There are no slips left, just give your table number at the payment counter. In addition to cash, you can also use PayPay.

When you think of summer in Toyama, this is what you think of. In previous years, it was Mr. Kin○, but this year (2022) we visited Mr. Oiwadate. It goes down easily and is still delicious. Also, the price is cheaper than the other two. Average: 550 yen, Large: 650 yen. ○ Ryu-san costs 650 yen for an average price, so you can get a large portion for the same price.I went there again this year (2023) and the price was the same without any price increase. A large serving costs 850 yen at the shop next door, so Oiwadate is definitely my choice. In 2024, the price was raised to 600 yen for medium size and 700 yen for large size...well, that's right.

I stopped by in mid-July 2024 after visiting Mt. Oiwa Nissekiji Temple. I ate the famous somen, and since it was after walking around the temple grounds in the heat, it was cold and delicious, and I drank all of it, including the soup stock.

I'm a senior citizen. I went there with my boyfriend who came from Kanto for a three-day weekend. The somen was delicious, but the shiratama zenzai I ordered didn't come out at all.I waited for 30 minutes while trying to soothe my irritated boyfriend, wondering if it was made from flour, but when he saw the shiratama zenzai of a later customer, he was furious. When I talked to the old lady clerk, was that it? Was it ordered? That's what I was told. I ordered it from you!! I just completely forgot about it lol. That one white ball! Yes! Is it just an exchange of voices? I wrote shiratama on the order slip and said I would bring it right away, and it arrived within 4 or 5 minutes lol. There was no apology or apology for being late. There was no accounting time either. It left a really bad aftertaste. I felt sorry for my boyfriend.

I came here when I was sweating after walking around Sengankei. I received a large serving of somen noodles, and I was able to eat them easily. It was delicious.
