I used this inn when climbing Mt. Norikura. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Norikura Kanko Bus Center, making it convenient for those traveling by public transportation. If you come from the bus center, there is an uphill slope in front of the inn, so people who are rolling suitcases will have to work a little harder. When you arrive at the inn, you will be greeted by the host dressed as a bartender, and you will realize that this is not an ordinary inn, but a hot spring bar where you can stay overnight. You can use the hot springs for private use by recording the bathing time for each room. There is an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, and the outdoor bath is lukewarm. The milky blue hot water is very refreshing. For dinner, we serve hearty dishes, with hamburgers as the main dish. I had a nice cocktail made that tasted like hot water from Norikura Kogen Onsen. The ice cream for dessert was ice-cold vanilla ice cream that you could feel the grains of ice on, topped with chocolate liqueur, and it was something you can only get at this place, which is particular about alcohol, and it was very delicious. The futon in the room was fluffy and I was able to fully recover from the fatigue of climbing. I don't like the high pillows with hard, gritty stuff that are often found in inns, but I was glad that there was a service where I could use a pillow of my choice from a shelf in the hallway, and I was able to choose a low pillow.Breakfast was a Western menu including omelets, French toast, and minestrone, which were also delicious. It was an inn where I was satisfied with the food, food, and drinks.

It was cool and comfortable even in summer. Both the drinks and food were very delicious. The portion was larger than expected and I don't think women would be able to finish it all. The stew hamburger steak was delicious, of course, but it was also full of volume. It was a shame that there was no refrigerator in the room. Norikura Kogen and Kamikochi are also nearby, so I think it's best to go in the summer. There are so many manga books that kids won't get bored. There are no convenience stores nearby, so even though I don't go there to buy the things I need in Matsumoto, there is no place nearby to buy them. There is also an open-air bath, which can be reserved for private use. There are towels everywhere which is very helpful. I want to go again ☆

Last time I visited during Golden Week, and this time I visited during summer vacation. The food is delicious and uses plenty of local highland vegetables. The spring quality is excellent, and you can soak in the indoor bath during Golden Week and the outdoor bath during summer vacation. Miraculous temperature control even though it is fed directly from the source. Moreover, you can choose the time slot and rent it out. After getting out of the bath, enjoy a drink at the bar. Light snacks are also delicious. There's nothing better than this.

This time, I used it as an overnight stay before going sightseeing in Kamikochi the next day after attempting my first Mt. Norikura hill climb. The hot spring ♨️, which is one of the big reasons to enjoy the inn, is not only available for private use, but it is also a wonderful hot spring with a clean open-air bath and free flowing hot spring water! This time, we had a plan that included one night and two meals, and the owner went out to buy the ingredients himself, so the meals were full of attention to detail. Breakfast was also delicious with homemade dressing and vegetables. Also, don't forget, as the name suggests, this inn has a bar.The owner himself stands at the bar and you can enjoy a drink while listening to his wealth of knowledge and fun stories about alcohol! If you are looking for an accommodation where even solo female travelers can stay with peace of mind, please come! ︎It was an inn that I would want to come back to again! ︎

At the very back of the pension village near the Norikura Tourist Center. It's very quiet and the stars are beautiful at night. The room is spacious and clean.Futons are laid out at check-in.Since it is a bar where you can stay overnight, there seems to be a relatively large number of adult customers. The previous night's hotel had a child with a foreign accent. It was very noisy, but here it was very quiet and calm.As you can see in the photo, the bath is spacious and has an outdoor sulfur spring. The temperature in the open air is quite low, so I wonder what it would be like in winter. There was a sense of cleanliness throughout the accommodation. You can rest assured. The food was very delicious, and although I thought it was a drinking establishment, you can enjoy it even if you just have a light drink.Appetizers packed with vegetables, homemade hamburgers, and jam the next morning?French toast is less sweet.I want to go again!

All the food was delicious, but the portions were so huge I thought I was going to die. I think this is the best accommodation for people who want to eat their fill.

#2023/11/19I visited at the end of October. It's about a 10 minute walk from Norikura Tourist Center. It's only a few minutes by car.The base is an old accommodation facility. Please note that the height of the door may be low. (If you are 180cm tall, there is a glimpse of where you will hit your head.)The guest room did not have a bath, toilet, or sink, but it was too spacious for one person.Although it was barely October, the temperature in Norikura Kogen was low, and we had an oil fan heater (there is a winter heating fee).I wonder if room TVs are sold in this size these days? It was small, but since I don't watch TV, I didn't mind how small it was.The Wi-FI connected well and I had no problems watching YouTube. The bath was reserved for private use by writing the room number on a whiteboard. The smell of sulfur is so strong that it pervades the building where the bathroom is located. The quality of the spring water was warm and cloudy, and you could stay soaked in it forever. Is this paradise? There is an open-air bath, but the temperature of the water was so low that it was difficult to take a long bath. It might be good in summer. For dinner, the owner will welcome you in bartender style. The meals consisted of hors d'oeuvres made with raw ham and salmon, oden, and stewed hamburgers + rice.It doesn't look like a hot spring resort, but since it's a bar, that's fine. There is a bar, but the menu doesn't seem to match. It's a good idea to tell them what you want to drink.Breakfast was plentiful.Local vegetables? French toast with plenty of salad.Finishing off with coffee. If you do not want to use a yukata or bath towel, please let us know so that it will be deducted from your accommodation fee. It is a good idea to bring your own if you have room in your luggage.Since it is run by the owner and his wife, I don't think they accept many customers in a day. There were 3 groups when I was there. Therefore, we had a lot of leeway when it came to renting out the bath and meals.Delicious sake and hot springs that permeate your body. It was a very luxurious time.
