The rice was very delicious and had a warm feel to it!Stink bugs appear in the hallway at night, but I think it can't be helped due to the location. The water pressure in the shower is also weak, but I think it can't be helped since it's a long-established facility. The room is Japanese style and has a simple feel, but it is suitable for the price so I have no complaints. I was able to sleep well at night, probably because I was tired from going to the ski resort.The service was very nice from the pick-up to the reception! It was especially convenient for me to pick up and drop off as soon as I called. thank you very much!

I looked at other reviews and didn't have high expectations, but there were a lot of things that didn't bother me. The bus pick-up and drop-off came early (maybe even on weekdays), and the food was delicious. Boots and ski rentals were also available.However, I am giving it 4 stars because the building is old, the water pressure in the shower was weak, and there were several stink bugs in the hallway. If you want to receive better treatment, spend the money and stay at a nice hotel.

All of the employees were very kind, and even when I had a problem, they were kind and accommodating and very helpful. I was able to enjoy skiing thanks to the kind staff who kindly taught me about the ski resort. I would like to take care of you next year as well.It may not be suitable for those who are accustomed to luxury hotel rooms and services, or those who believe that the customer is the best. It's an old building, but there are no problems at all.

This facility seems to be mostly used by young people such as students, but it can also be used by families as well.All the employees were kind and approachable.They flexibly provided transportation to and from Echigo Yuzawa Station, the ski resort, and the inn. There wasn't much waiting time, probably because it was a weekday and there weren't many people using it.However, it was difficult to understand the explanation of the meeting place at Echigo Yuzawa Station, so it would have been better if they had told me to call it the plaza next to Matsukiyo.Recommended for those who like a homely atmosphere.Overall evaluation made me want to repeat it.

I used it on a tour with a travel agency in March.I was surprised and worried when I read the reviews, but I thought it was a great place.As other reviews have said, the room reminds me of a school trip I took when I was an elementary school student. The smell of cigarettes coming from the smoking area downstairs also comes into the room.But even better than that was the shuttle bus service. When I arrived at the station, when I went to the ski resort, when I went home, and when I went to the station on the way home, all I had to do was make a phone call and he was there in about 5 minutes.It was much more convenient than a taxi.The food has the feel of a school trip, but it will fill you up.It's cheap, there are hot springs within walking distance, and if you buy snacks in advance at a convenience store, I think the location is the best.If you're a person who prioritizes cheap, I don't think you'll have any complaints.thank you for your kindness!

This place has unnecessarily low rating. The food is traditional and very decent. The rooms are old but warm and comfortable. It’s not close to anything in particular but their shuttle service is amazing. The staff are lovely. Superficially, you get what you pay for, but this place is great and I’d stay here again.

It was the best.I heard that Shimouma Omote is delicious for rice, but I don't think the seasoning is very good so I don't have high expectations.Many of the rental items are old, and some of the shoes have been repaired with duct tape.The bath is small, but it's great.The room is cold.Convenience store is far away.The customer service is not very friendly, but it makes you think about people.A famous actress retired on this day, but I'm not too sad. Because there is another actress I like.Ito Maiyuki is recommended.

A good old local inn!All of the Grandpa staff members served our customers with great hospitality. I didn't particularly care about the loose ends that others have written.Also, I forgot to reserve the shuttle bus until the morning of the day, but when I contacted them, they immediately drove out to pick me up, and when I checked out, they kindly took me to a nearby tourist spot. Ta.The building is a little old, but the shuttle bus is very flexible, so I recommend it if you are going on a student snowboarding trip!
