The open-air bath or rock bath, quiche, mustard-soaked beans, and glossy chestnuts were amazing. It took about 10 minutes to taste the quiche. Nuthatches were also there. Thank you very much.

It was a place where everything was impressive! It was a fantastic feeling, like being in a fairy tale. The entire Piccolo Hotel family was very kind and warm, and provided all services with utmost care. Breakfast and dinner were prepared with great care and tasted very good! I went trekking for a long time in the winter, and you were concerned and helped me make the trip comfortable. Each and every prop that decorated the space was also unusual. It felt even more like I was in a fairy tale because each and every item was hand-purchased and decorated with cute and pretty things from a foreign flea market. The room was pretty and clean, as if I was in Europe.I was happy to be able to take a hot spring bath!It was a place I definitely want to come again next time!

I visited him on our 3rd anniversary. Since it was a weekday, there was no one else staying there other than us, so it was reserved.Even though I had been enjoying shopping at the outlet store until the last minute and was extremely late in checking in, they were very kind and gracious in accommodating me.(Thank you very much for that.By the way, I let you know that I can send it to you by phone in advance.)The room I was given after checking in was carefully cleaned, and the autumn leaves from the bed were beautiful. It was cold at night since I was in Karuizawa at the end of November, but they had turned on the heater so I didn't have to worry about the cold at all.The sweets and drinks provided in the room were all delicious.I also enjoyed the books in the hallway and the photo books of the squirrels that came to play with me.Inside the room, there were diaries left by people who had stayed in the room in the past, and it was so much fun to read them! Everyone's warm comments made my heart flutter. It seems that many people like it and come back again and again. Each meal was very delicious, and the vegetables were especially highland vegetables, which were fresh and had the flavor of the vegetables themselves. Also, since we had the anniversary course, it was nice that we were served sparkling wine. I thought it was just a glass, but I was surprised to find it was a whole bottle! The anniversary cake that was served after the meal was probably handmade, but it was so delicious that I could easily eat it.Also, this hotel has a nice bath. The outside view of the open-air bath is very beautiful both during the day and at night, and the rocky area is arranged with just the right amount of salt, so you can sit or lie down in various places and feel very relaxed. The heat was just right and the coldness of Karuizawa was blown away. The floor of the indoor bath is tatami, so you don't have to worry about getting cold! I felt that there was a lot of consideration here as well.In the morning, the master fed the squirrels, so I was able to see them doing well!I was really happy because I wanted to meet squirrels ♩It was a very nice place, with nothing but praise from every corner. As for access, it may be a little difficult to understand, but it will be shown on the navigation system, so I don't think you will get lost. We recommend you to bring a car when you come. I think the location is convenient as you can go to various tourist spots nearby in 10 to 15 minutes by car. If you want some snacks to go with your drinks in the evening, we recommend buying them in advance. The nearby convenience store didn't seem to be open 24 hours.I would like to visit you again on a special day with another important person (friend, family, etc.). This is a hotel that I can confidently recommend that everyone will love.

This was my first time staying at a pension-style hotel. I was satisfied with everything: the atmosphere of the hotel, the personality of the owner and his wife, and the food.I've never stayed in a pension before, and I thought it was cheaper than a hotel or inn. This time, I was able to get a great sense of satisfaction that can only be experienced at a small pension.I'm not a music expert, but if you like orchestra or classical music, this is a hotel you should definitely stay at.I think one of the fun things about Piccolo Hotel is taking a walk in the national forest behind the hotel.

I want to come again soon! I thought. It's natural for expensive hotels to have good food and service, but here I felt as comfortable as at home. The owner's care is abundant in everything from the meals to the preparation of the room and even the slightest greetings. The dining room is very nicely prepared. The vegetables are very fresh and seem to be made with local ingredients. The food was not too elaborate, but was just the right amount of luxurious French, and I was able to enjoy it without having to strain my shoulders. Everything from the roast beef to the cheese soufflé dessert had a homemade feel to it. The five-grain rice was also delicious. We celebrated our anniversary with Opera brand sparkling wine. The next morning the weather was perfect and we were able to have breakfast on the terrace. The rooms are not large, but functional, and are decorated with Italian-style decorations related to the opera. There are no yukatas, but there is a refrigerator, electric kettle, and coffee set, so you won't have to worry about amenities. The private open-air bath had a great atmosphere and I was able to use it slowly. This is a hotel where you can feel the kindness of the owner.
