Located in Izumi, not easy to get to by public transport, but worth the trip. This is an off the beaten path location. No tourists i. The area. Fishing community. Beautiful scenary on the trip to this spot. Shared bathrooms and bath. Rented a room in the house. Traditional tatami room. We set up our own bed. They provided sheets, towels, soaps. Recommend you bring your own toiletries. The house is well lived in. Rooms were clean-ish. Not filthy, kind of dusty in common areas. House staff prepared meals. Fish was super fresh and food was delicious. Free wifi. Nice view of beach from upstairs room with roof access to sit and relax.

The food is good. It is traditional fish village with quiet beach. The house is old but clean. The bath is ok with size for family bath together that is ok. I like the such special style stage for my vocation.

Beyond the breakwater is a quiet beach. It's September now, so you can swim, but there are no people.I was fascinated by the gorgeous cuisine posted on the internet and made a reservation (^^) It was a bargain at 8,580 yen per person, including 1 night and 2 meals! I went with my three daughters. That's a huge amount for a grandma to do all by herself!I can't even get past the table.A splendid boat platter, boiled fish, tempura, butter-grilled scallops, eggplant and peppers in dengaku miso, mozuku vinegar with shime mackerel, and rice cooked in a pot, making it soft and sweet. The miso soup had Ohatsu Kame's hand in it. I couldn't eat well because I didn't know how to eat it (^◇^;)Everything was great without any compliments ⭐︎Especially the simmered dish had a sweet flavor similar to my grandma's and it was great (o^^o)Breakfast the next day was delicious with horse mackerel opening, dried daikon radish, hot spring eggs, pickles, rice, and fish soup. The breakfast is not as filling as the dinner, but it is very delicious. The amount is just right (^^)It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, but it was a very nice one without being too intrusive. They also have a separate bath ready for you to use at any time (^^) The popping sound is soothing 🎵If I had to tell anyone who is going to go there, it would be, ``It might be a good idea to bring a box of tissues with you, as girls especially use them a lot.'' (^^) There are no tissues in the room. There are insects, but that's normal when you live in the countryside. The room I stayed in was a corner room with an ocean view, so it wasn't very clean, but it had an air conditioner and was comfortable.I will carry the food to my room myself. You can also lay out and fold your own futon. This kind of experience is perfect for raising children (^^)There is a communal refrigerator, so please write your name in it. There are two toilets, but they are shared (^。^)Payment is by cash only!

The food is delicious and luxurious, and you are free to bring your own drinks. On the other hand, if you don't bring your own, they only have beer. I can't find any shops nearby. The bath has good hot water and a nice view. There weren't many other guests so we could use it as a family bath. The sea is right in front of us, but it's not so clean for swimming. It's very quiet and pleasant to relax and watch. If your purpose is to eat and take a bath, it's an overwhelmingly cost-effective option.

My family and I went to Kamaya-san, which was a long-awaited visit. This is a truly humane inn, a valuable inn from the Showa era. The Izu-like cuisine, natural hot springs, and location were also great. Thank you for taking care of my grandmother. It was fun.thank you very much.

First, when we arrived at the inn, the only information we received was the location of the room. There was no explanation about dinner time or bath location, just a tour of the room.I'm a little confused because they don't tell me anything. We asked whether the room we were shown to was being cleaned or not, so we borrowed a vacuum cleaner and cleaned it ourselves.Looks like dust. There are towels but no toothbrushes. The meal is served around 6:30 pm when the hostess calls that the meal is ready and the guests go to the first floor to pick it up.As for my impressions of the meal, I would say that the main dish, the Kinmedai sashimi, was fishy...compared to the other sashimi, only the Kinmedai was not tasty.I also felt that the miso soup and rice were a little cold. The bath is open 24 hours.Located on the second floor of the building next door, you can take a bath while looking out at the ocean.I'm glad it's spacious.Sounds from outside the room can be heard clearly.G did not occur, but there were quite a lot of insects. When I was making tea from a teapot, there were small insects in it, so I stopped drinking it.I was afraid of not knowing where insects might be on the things I use. This is not an inn where you will receive any hospitality.I think it's a good place to visit thinking of staying at a grandmother's house in the countryside in front of the sea, but there are many other guesthouses in Izu with beautiful rooms and delicious meals, so I'd like to use them again. I didn't think so...

A somewhat old inn located along the coast of Izu.It was a windy winter day, so the room was drafty and a bit cold. The food is served in boatloads, and it feels quite luxurious. It is also near the fishing port, so you can enjoy fresh fish. The baths are in a separate building, and there are two on the second floor that you climb up the stairs in front of you as you exit the entrance. The bathtub was relatively shallow and the wind was strong, so it was drafty and cold, and the bottom of the bathtub was also rough with sand getting into it.There are no shops around the inn, and you can bring your own drinks, so it's best to buy some before you go. Please note that there is a shared refrigerator. The bike was parked in a covered area. (The space under the bath looked like a garage or a warehouse.)

Thank you for your help during the September holidays.Perhaps due to the YouTube effect, the rooms are full every day.The miso soup brought by Takkun was the signal for morning and evening meal time, and there was a parade of extravagant dishes that I couldn't finish.*The breakfast food is also quite good in quantity and quality. The hostess's cooking was delicious.Regarding the rooms that were not cleaned properly in some places, I think that the evaluation will differ depending on the guest. We didn't really care.(Be sure to clean the dust behind the air conditioner before it gets cold.)We highly recommend staying for multiple nights. The boat platter on the second night was full of different fish than kinme. The combination of Koura Beach and this inn makes for the most relaxing experience. The bath is also good 😃If you are fishing, please bring your own set.It was also relaxing to spend time relaxing on the embankment and chatting with the locals. On a clear night, the starry sky and the Milky Way are beautiful.I think this inn has a lot of healing properties that you won't understand unless you stay there and experience it for yourself. If you have the opportunity to get away from the harsh daily routine, we highly recommend spending your relaxing days here. This is an inn I would like to visit again♪

I stayed there for two nights for the first time at my husband's strong request. Before I went, I didn't know anyone who could explain the facilities in detail, so I went there without knowing anything about them, so I'd like to share with you the information I wanted to know.Shopping☆Maxvalu Shimokamo store was about 15 to 20 minutes by car. There was also a Family Mart a little before that.Refrigerator ☆ There is not one in the room, but there is a refrigerator for guests to share in front of the toilet on the second floor! And of course the freezer! There was also cold tea that the hostel made and kept for us. Please be aware that it is considered bad manners if you do not include the amount considering other guests.Shower ☆ There is a shower with hot water underneath the bath (on the second floor) diagonally in front of the entrance, so you can wash off after bathing in the sea. There were two washing machines next to the shower. After showering, one person returned to the room, brought a change of clothes and a bath towel set, and the family went straight to the bathroom and took a bath. In the meantime, I washed my swimsuit, dehydrated it when I got out of the bath, and hung it up to dry in the room, and it was dry by the next morning. My throat didn't hurt because it was dried in the air conditioner. There are two shared toilets. It is kept clean, but be careful as there are not enough toilets to replace the toilet paper, but they are placed in the corner of the plastic bucket in front of the toilet. Let's check the paper before entering (I had very little paper left and didn't have to replace it, so I was nervous about whether I would have enough paper). The tatami mats in the room have been thoroughly vacuumed, but there is so much dust that you can see the filter of an old air conditioner! The body was also dirty. It's just my elderly wife and my part-time worker, so I guess I can't really help out that much. I have a dust allergy, so I wiped the dust off the filter with a vacuum cleaner in the hallway (the suction power is weak), washed it with water in the shared sink, and dried it with the hairdryer I had brought with me. I also wiped the main unit with a wet tissue, but it didn't come out very clean...I wish I had an Easy My Pet. If you are interested, please give it a try.The display cabinet was also dusty so I wiped it down. Mold inside the air conditioner can't be helped.Voices and sounds from next door ☆ I couldn't hear the voices next door across the closet, but the wall on the opposite side was so thin that I thought it was a sliding door, so I could hear it completely. My neighbor next door was singing Disney songs and my dad was laughing out loud, which made my family smile, but some people might be knocking at the wall. Maybe because we were so quiet, we didn't realize that the neighbors could hear us so much.Rice ☆ Dinner is luxurious and as per the reviews! I was satisfied. Breakfast is very simple: seaweed, grilled fish, hot spring eggs, side dishes, miso soup, and rice. The Kinmedou from the evening boatload was included in the miso soup in the morning. There is no shortage. The stewed fish, sashimi, and miso soup were delicious, but the scales were not removed from the fish other than sashimi, so please avoid eating the skin.Parking lot ☆ There is a parking lot with space for 5 cars at the end of the street in front of the inn. To load and unload your luggage, there is a covered parking space in front of the inn, so it might be a good idea to unload your luggage there and then park.
