The food was delicious both in the morning and in the evening. However, the rooms and facilities...to put it bluntly, feel like they're showing their age.

It feels like an old-fashioned inn, with a nostalgic yet old-fashioned building, warm customer service from the waitress, and an open-air bath with a nice view.As the restaurant is the birthplace of boiled red sea bream, the food is also exquisite. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very satisfying. There are convenience stores, restaurants, snacks, etc. nearby, so the location doesn't feel too inconvenient. Also, I didn't see any complaints such as "the rice was cold" or "the service was bad" as mentioned in the low reviews. I am impressed that you are improving every day.I would like to stay again next time.

I was acutely aware of the need for information on the age of the inn and the year it opened. The location is great. The food was delicious, and although some people in their 20s and 30s might find it unsatisfying, it was just right.Although there have been some renovation efforts, the building is basically old and there are many parts that are worth the price, such as a toilet with a non-functioning ventilation fan, peeling wallpaper, and foot wiping mats that have not been cleaned properly and have hair left on them. There are many reasonable plans, but the luxury plans are mainly based on meal grade and the bathrooms are the same, so I feel sorry for them.An inn with a Showa atmosphere.

If you have children, it's best to sleep in futons at a ryokan, but these days many ryokans have been renovated and are adding beds. This is a good old ryokan that Mr. Nakai will guide you to, the food is delicious (as expected from the birthplace of Kinmedai simmered), the baths are nice, and the Japanese-style rooms are great.Although it is a little far from the sea, it is very convenient as there is a convenience store nearby.Since there aren't many people, it's noticeable that there are some places that aren't covered, but that's not something you need to worry about. If you're looking for quality food, pay twice as much at other high-end ryokans.

I stayed there with my family. There is also a beach and places where you can do some light shopping nearby.Good pointsSince I made the reservation without knowing the location from the room, and there was a park and Maxvalu outside my window, I wasn't feeling excited about traveling, so I asked if it would be possible to exchange rooms for an additional fee. They kindly moved me to a room facing the sea and said there was no additional charge.I was able to wake up comfortably to the morning sun and the illuminated sea.Since it is a seaside town, the food was delicious, including sashimi.Bad pointsThere was no one at the front desk when I checked in, and although I could hear their voices, there was no response, so when I called them, they came out from the back.Since I was able to choose the time of my meal, I had it late, but I was a little disappointed that the boiled kinme that I was looking forward to was not warm at room temperature. The location of the hot springs changes depending on the time, but the upper floor where the open-air bath is located has a nice view, but it is located in a position that can be seen from other hotels. My mother said she felt restless and the water was too warm. When I went to the hot spring on the upper floor in the morning, the water was so hot that I couldn't get into it, and I was faced with the capacity of the nearby Maxvalu. The location on the sea side is important, so it's difficult to hide people's eyes, but I thought it would be a good idea to separate the left and right sides of the open-air bath. The hot water was good and the food was delicious, but I think I might choose a different hotel next time.
