I stayed here with my wife for one night. I wish it had been more. The owners are extraordinary people, unbelievably accommodating. The breakfast is just healthy, clean, and delicious. The room and wifi were excellent. Cant recommend enough.

Our stay at Guesthouse Cago was absolutely delightful. The guesthouse is incredibly cozy and very clean. We especially want to highlight the warm hospitality of Mariko, who took great care of us throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent – ​​in terms of taste and quality. Overall, we had a wonderful time on the island and would definitely return anytime. Thank you for the unforgettable days!Our stay at Cargo Guesthouse was wonderful. The guesthouse is very comfortable and clean. In particular, I would like to emphasize the kindness of Mariko, who treated us warmly throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent in taste and quality. Overall, we had a lovely time on the island and would definitely come back again any time. Thank you for the unforgettable days!

We stayed at Cago for one night in August 2024. The owner Marycole is so friendly, welcoming and makes sure she can help with any of your needs. She helped us to find a place for dinner and when we had to leave very early the morning of checkout in order to catch the first ferry of the day, she woke up extra early to prepare coffee and fruit along with freshly baked bread by her husband. The location is wonderful - right in the middle of town and close to many bike rental options making it convenient for adventures and meal plans. Highly recommend this wonderful home away from home on Taketomi!

Even though I came to Taketomi Island, which is far from the city center, I found myself in an inn filled with a sense of tension and cold service that would be unbelievable even in the city center.Since it's a small inn, I understand that there are detailed rules, but if you try to ask about anything that's outside the rules, you'll be turned down in a very cold manner. Even I, who am used to small private shops, was shocked at the level. It's not about being friendly or personable.The room is clean but nothing special, just normal. I didn't know what kind of details my host would say to me, so I was nervous not to hurt myself, so I couldn't relax at all.The food is delicious, but it's about the same level you'd expect from a small cafe or restaurant.A normal room, normal food, and cold service. In this case, it would have been much better to stay at a guesthouse. Too strong of a habit.It was also impressive that when I told locals that I was staying at this inn, most of them responded with a meaningful response like, ``Oh, that's over there.''

This is an inn run by a couple (´◡`๑)My wife's cooking is also delicious.The bread that my husband baked was also very delicious.There is no TV or clock in the room.You can enjoy Taketomi Island slowly.The garden also has an extraordinary atmosphere♪It's an inn that you'll want to go to again.

I've been there twice a year as a repeat customer for 6 consecutive nights, many times before. Every time I go, I bring a small souvenir with me, and when I asked a repeat customer who had paid around 240,000 to 270,000 yen to postpone the event due to the coronavirus pandemic and change the date, I heard some shocking words👂. . . . You cannot change your reservation unless you pay a cancellation fee of 240,000 yen for 6 nights. As a result, I no longer bring this with me. . There were no repeat customers or relationships. . . . I was told that as long as the ship 🚢 is not canceled due to a typhoon, a cancellation fee will be collected no matter what happens. . . That's a pretty cruel idea! They were not available for negotiation or consultation. . . . . ❤︎Please don't stay here again or come again. What a saying!! ️It's just a matter of money 👍 They are a nasty owner couple.
