I first stayed there 23 years ago in the summer and have stayed there about 3 or 4 times.A friend of mine was planning a trip to Ishigaki Island, so in order to recommend this inn, I took the opportunity to look for old photos and provide information.A simple, traditional room. Rooms were allocated according to the number of guests. I stayed in an annex several times, and there was what was considered to be a fine Buddhist altar at the time, giving me a valuable experience of experiencing the local culture.A gecko sometimes made a cute sound. They were precious and adorable to us.During our stay on the island, we were able to enjoy nature to the fullest. It was a lodging facility where you could fully utilize all five senses, such as the warm hospitality of the landlady and other staff, the cries of the geckos, and the play of the many-nosed fruit bats. It was a valuable place with various virtues that you can't experience in a regular hotel. There is a very wide beach where you can experience shallow, clear sea water, and in the summer 23 years ago, there were many sea cucumbers. Relaxing on the beach was a great way to spend your time, but it's best to avoid the hot summer sun.At that time, many tourists came to Kondoi Beach by tour bus, and I wondered why they came to Taketomi Island. We went around the island, enjoyed discovering the nature and culture unique to the island, and spent the days feeling like we were children again. We ate our meals in a friendly atmosphere with the other guests at the restaurant inside the guesthouse. After dinner, I went to the pier with everyone almost every day to watch the sunset and play in the waves. At that time, we could see sea fireflies. When I walked on the sandy beach covered with wave spray, it instantly sparkled. I heard that the light was emitted by microorganisms in the sea, and I was surprised to learn that in ancient times, the light continued to glow so long that footprints were still visible.I also heard that the roads on the island are cleaned by residents every morning, and those who clean them can pick up the spice called piyasii found on the roadsides. When I met people on the street, I naturally greeted them.Meals were served in the morning and evening, so I ate yakisoba almost every day at lunch at a nearby restaurant called Takenoko. The chewy Okinawa soba noodles and special seasoning were delicious. The change in the taste of Kole Goose was also good.I haven't been there in over 20 years, and I'm thinking of planning a trip based on my memories.

When I taste brown sugar and Sanpin tea while writing in the garden, I feel like this is it.The feeling of time passing slowly. It's the best place to go for a daze instead of sightseeing. The best inn.I'm looking forward to the Yuntaku dinner.Awamori. Delicious, but you might want to avoid bringing children

We will provide transportation from the port to your accommodation. There is also a service that delivers rental bicycles to your hotel, so please choose the one that suits your needs. There is a separate building from the main house, so this time I stayed in the main house. There was a Buddhist altar in the room and it felt like a living space, but it felt like I was staying at a relative's house. As you might expect from a remote island, there are no keys in the rooms, so please be careful if you are concerned about this. It seemed like there was only one group per building, so next time I would like to try a separate house. Baths and toilets are shared, and meals are shared in the dining room. I enjoyed interacting with other guests like a guesthouse. If you are looking for a resort feel, I recommend a different accommodation. You can get a glass of awamori at dinner, but since everyone was looking for the sunset, there was almost no yunku supper after the meal, so we had to spread out. Both dinner and breakfast were in good quantity and tasted good. It was also helpful to have explanations such as recommended visiting times for nearby sightseeing spots. The pineapple for breakfast dessert was soft, not sour, and very sweet and delicious. I was told that it could be purchased at the market on Ishigaki Island for around 200 yen, but since I couldn't go to the market on my way home, I bought it at Ishigaki Airport, but it cost 800 yen as a souvenir. It was so delicious that I couldn't go back to the pineapple I used to eat. For women, there is a service to take commemorative photos in Ryukyu kimono after breakfast.

This is an inn where you can feel the Taketomi and Yaeyama characteristics.A sightseeing water buffalo cart playing the sanshin passes in front of the inn, so you can hear the sound of the sanshin while staying in your room and feel at ease. The food is also delicious! The aloe that I grow at home came out and it was very delicious. But a tick in the room? I was really bitten by something. I borrowed the muhi that was left at the hotel, and it was cured within a few days.By the time we left, they dressed us in kimonos and took pictures of us. I was happy because it was a good memory.Although insect protection is a must, I would like to stay there again.
