If you set the Mt. Chokai Blue Line as your destination for a one-night, two-day high-speed bike tour from Kanto, there were few accommodations in the area that you could easily find.I searched on MAP and found this inn.Located just at the Akita side entrance of the Blue Line, it is in a great location where it intersects with the Green Line, which you pass when crossing Ou via the Tohoku Expressway.I made a reservation on the inn's website without hesitation. On the day of our stay, we were blessed with good weather and arrived near the inn around 3pm.I had plenty of time, so I ran up the Blue Line, relaxed at the mountain top parking lot, and checked in after 4pm (I attacked the Blue Line again the next day). It's a small inn, but it looks like a former high-end inn (?), with high ceilings and a spacious building, where I was able to relax in a renovated room. The hospitality is managed by a young couple and the landlady. The food and drinks were delicious and of a very high standard. The local sea food (thank you for the delicious sandfish), the mountain food (rare mushrooms, etc.), and the sake and wine were also pretty good. When touring in Tohoku, we will decide on a fixed accommodation.I would definitely like to bring my family here in the winter when the seafood is likely to be delicious.

When I inquired if I could suddenly stay overnight during Golden Week, I was told that they could accommodate a stay without meals, so I made a reservation.I've been to Mt. Chokai several times, but I never knew there was such a good accommodation.Next time, I would like to contact you early and use the hotel with meals included.

A beautiful inn. The landlady is pleasant and the food is good. These days, young couples are doing the cooking, and what seems like an appetizer to go with alcohol has turned into a luxurious meal with two main dishes. There is a good selection of Japanese sake and wine, and dinner is a lot of fun 🍷
