I went there on February 6, 2024!I was nervous to see if there was snow on the road, but there was none and it was easy to drive! As soon as I got out of the car, I could smell the sulfur! That was the moment I was so glad I came!It was quite crowded, but I had a relaxing time! It was nice to have a faint view of Lake Tazawa from the open-air bath! There were some customers in the open-air bath, so this photo was taken from the road a little further away on the way back!Lake Tazawa appears to shine white just below the sun!I went there at the end of August 2024!No matter how many times I go, I still love hot springs!Signs of Tetsuro Degawa and Nana Suzuki were casually posted on the aisle! A must-see for anyone interested! From the round-trip road to Mizusawa Onsen, I could sometimes see the beautiful snow-covered Mt. Iwate around Morioka in Iwate Prefecture, so I'd like to include a photo of it!

I used it for a day trip bath. Although it seems a little expensive at 700 yen, I was able to relax in the large open-air bath.

This is my favorite hot spring in Akita! I love the cloudy white water and open-air bath![Revisited for overnight stay in September 2020]I was finally able to visit and stay overnight.I liked the hot springs here and wanted to stay there many times. There is a cooking area where meals are not included and is fully stocked with cooking utensils and tableware that can be borrowed free of charge.I have to get it back to normal though. There were some people who bought their favorite ingredients and cooked them in a very authentic way. There are no seasonings or saran wrap. There's no air conditioning in the room, so it's pretty cool during the day, but it's pretty cold at night due to the high altitude.I am satisfied that my dream of bathing multiple times came true during my long-cherished stay.If I pass by again, I will stop by.It's no secret that I forgot to take a photo of the room.

I was planning to head to Nyuto Onsenkyo immediately after staying at Aoni Sanso, but when I learned about this hot spring facility, I suddenly changed my plans and took a day trip to take a bath. 700 yen.It was early, so it was empty and the place was almost reserved. There are two indoor baths and two open-air baths, each with lukewarm water (about 41℃) and hot water (about 43℃). The spacious bath had a pleasant sulfur scent and the water was very relaxing, especially the open-air bath, which gave me a sense of openness and I took a long bath.It is 100cm at its deepest point. When I read what others have written, it seems that the turbidity of the hot springs varies depending on the day or time. When I entered the water, it was a little cloudy, but the water was almost clear. The milky white color is expected from Nyuto Onsenkyo.
