Sugi-chan came lolThe hot water is full of floating matter...It doesn't feel like Yubana...Are they not doing things like changing the hot water because they don't have the manpower? It's like saying...I went to the hot springs for a day trip on a public holiday, but it was reserved for private use. Will I fold it up when Auntie is gone?

I visited for the first time in several years in mid-January 2024.I visited around 15:00 and used it for a day trip bath.It feels like a hot spring inn that hasn't changed since ancient times, and as of 2020, the bathing fee is 400 yen per adult. My family and I have been coming to Sugo Onsen to take baths since I was a child, and I personally love the unique smell of the hot springs. The men's bath is on the first floor, and the women's bath is on the second floor, and there is also a slightly deeper standing bath for men. It's a little dark, so I can't see the bottom of the bath very well, and I'm surprised because it's deeper than I expected. The bath is quite lukewarm, so you won't get tired even if you stay in it for a long time.Several other Sugo Onsen ryokan have closed down in recent years, so I hope this ryokan continues to do its best.

I feel nostalgic (Showa era) as soon as I enter the building and inside. The most important part is the bathroom, which is just my personal impression. The bathtub is not that big, but it is simple, and the color (blackish, dark) is to my liking (calming), but it is disappointing. 2 points The reason is that the ceiling is pink compared to the color of the bathtub, and the shower faucet is old and rusty, so you can't adjust the temperature. If these two points were resolved, I think it would be a good hot spring to relax in.

Anyway, I like the quality of the spring water.Even hot springs that are said to be effective have their own compatibility with each other, and some hot springs can be very strenuous and even tiring.Sugo is a hot spring that suits me and my family very well, and even though I only use it for day trips, it continues to soothe me.The innkeeper's grandmother was very helpful even though she was in a wheelchair. It's an old-looking building, but it's not unpleasant, it's nostalgic. I'm thankful that it doesn't change no matter when I go.Since she was free yesterday, she asked me to join her, and she reserved the women's bath on the second floor for me.I had an unexpectedly luxurious time in the spacious bathtub.Thank you very much.2023.12.2 AddedHot springs for the first time in a while. The grandmother guarding the hot springs seemed to be in good health and welcomed us warmly. It's the season when you feel depressed, but the hot water here is still the best!.

No matter what time you go, it's never too crowded, so it's my favorite hot spring where you can relax. The scent of the spring water is unique.
