I stayed there thinking it was a good old inn, but the landlady was hysterical and quite eccentric, which was the worst.Absolutely not recommended.

The landlady here is a really rude person. When they found out that I was a solo traveler from Tokyo,``The police are right next door to this place, so if there's a thief in the building, they'll report it right away. They've caught a few people before,'' he said.It was so rude that I canceled and immediately moved to another hotel. How dare you call a guest a thief for coming all the way to stay with you!In an era when compliance is being called for, the fact that they are engaging in such low-quality customer service really gives Akita a bad impression.I will never come again!

I've had some pretty unreasonable things said to me, and as a local, I don't want to get involved.
