We spent a weekend at Ikuno Stay house #19 this month and it was wonderful! We loved staying in the beautiful mountain area in an old Japanese style home! The updated bathtub was really a treat! The home had all of the modern amenities we needed along with the beautiful old world charm. We enjoyed playing games in the evening around the heated kotastu table. I highly recommend Ikuno Stay and hope to return someday!

It was great experience to stay here. The house was beautiful and I felt like in a movie staying there. Perfect place to see a real Japanese traditional house.

It was great experience to be here. Classic Old japanese house with futons and paper walls. It was clean and there was everything what you need for longer stay.Ikuno village itself was also great to see. Really calm, quiet and with beautiful scenery and nice People. I recommend to visit lady in Okonomiyaki restaurant for tutorial how to prepare it and eat it. Very friendly. You will have oportunity to observe big diffrence between city and countryside 🙂Totally recommend

When I visited three years ago, I only went for a tour, but when I learned that you can now stay overnight, it has become a highlight of this year's Golden Week! There is also a Goemon bath in Building 9, which is probably from the Meiji era. Showa era? It's a time slip 👀!! ️(The hot water supply facility is gas and has a shower)Of course, you can rent out the whole building, so you can see the exhibits to your heart's content.Facilities include a refrigerator, rice cooker, toaster, microwave, pot, pot, IH stove, and tableware, so I cooked my own dinner.(Please prepare a knife)The bedroom has air conditioning and is comfortable🍀😌🍀In the future, a washing machine will also be installed for long-term stays. For breakfast, I went to the bakery in front of the station to buy some freshly baked goods 🥯 (opens at 7:30, recommended!)This is a recommended place where you can spend the most luxurious time relaxing on the veranda or strolling around Ikuno town.

The room is very big and nice.It was nice to be able to feel the analog sensibility.Non-face-to-face check-in and out.The bedding was also comfortable.Because it is a mountainous area, it can be cold, so heaters are provided here and there. The kotatsu was warm and really nice!

Stayed here during the end of March as part of a tour. It's conveniently located around 10 minutes by foot from Ikuno Station and is a beautifully renovated home with a rich history, amazing sunlight and was a super comfortable and clean location to stay at. I stayed here with 4 other people and it still felt very spacious. The home also has a traditional Japanese Goemon-bath tub which was very cool and has interesting artifacts as part of the decor. The host is extremely accommodating and I would 100% recommend it if you intend to visit Ikuno Mine, go cycling or just happen to travel to this area!

The experience of staying in a traditional house was wonderful. It was great for relieving stress. The atmosphere is so good that I can't express it in words. These houses are just wonderful to calm down from all the city stress. I have never stayed in a house this clean. The atmosphere can’t be compared to anything else since you’re technically staying in a museum.
