I stayed in a room with an open-air bath.It was truly a luxurious time.Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in silence.I was able to spend so much time that I forgot about time. I watched the bamboo sway forever as the wind blew in front of me, and I even wondered if it was the same time.If I have a bath in my room, I'll take it many times.I would like to come again. There are no children or families, so you can enjoy quiet time as an adult.

Absolutely worth it! Both public onsen were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights, which I highly recommend. We had the traditional japanese breakfast on one morning and it was delicious. We did not try the dinner, but in hindsight, we probably should have. We had dinner in town; the restaurant, train station and everything else are in easy walking distance. For the bird enthusiasts: we saw a pygmy woodpecker from the onsen and a brown eared bulbul and a few others from our window!

Great Service. We had a typhoon issue the day of check in, and we weren't able to get to the hotel, when we called and asked for assistance Izumi answered and helped us out, she was nothing but helpful. They refunded us one day and let us check in the next day. Loved our stay in here. They even helped us get a bus so we can go to our next destination.

A quiet and comfortable place. However, it seems difficult to reach the inn on snowy days in winter.

We had a fantastic stay with our 2 kids (4 and 2 years old). Incredible service, fantastic food and the perfect onsen experience. We rented the rental onsen at night, the price is very reasonable. The ryokan is located really close to the center of Arima-Onsen.
