I stayed for two days on October 8th and 10th, 2024 while traveling in Kumamoto. The location was good and clean. The first day the room was very small and the second day was not too small. It's not a shame because I stopped by to enjoy downtown Kumamoto, but if there's a better choice, you might want to look elsewhere. A hot spring is just a bathhouse. It's not a hot spring, it's a spa. I don't have any special memories, but it wasn't bad. Parking seems expensive at 1300 yen.

Since the end of the coronavirus, most of our customers have been inbound tourists. For breakfast starting at 6:30, we do not have enough space inside the venue and use the counter in the lobby. I can't hear Japanese at all. (Japanese people don't talk in situations like this) I would like the staff to warn customers who are yelling loudly. The floors of the large public bath and changing room are all wet, and etiquette in the bathroom is completely unacceptable. The rooms were on par with city hotels, and the facilities and equipment were good, but my expectations of being able to stay in a good hotel disappeared like bubbles. It's a shame.

The rooms and location are good, and there are hot springs, but there are many bad-quality inbound tourists who don't understand manners or Japanese etiquette, which often makes them uncomfortable (especially in the bathhouse and entrance), and because of this, the comfort and atmosphere are not good, so it's a waste. I felt it. I saw many vehicles that looked like white taxis in front of the hotel.

I booked this hotel on the first day of my trip to Kyushu. It was amazing. The hotel is very new and the room is very comfortable. It is very close to the city center for dinner and shopping. The hotel's large public bath is also very comfortable and the breakfast is very satisfying. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Kumamoto. Taiwanese tourists. However, it is inconvenient to transfer if you want to take the Shinkansen (we are self-driving passengers)

This hotel has many inbound tourists (from Asia).Perhaps because of that, his manners are very bad.The bathroom was littered with towels and trash.Trash cans are scattered and people come up to the changing room with their shoes on, so the floor is pitch black. The soles of my feet get dirty after taking a bath. There are people from overseas swimming in the public bath, and people talking loudly in the sauna room.Candeo Hotels is a hotel where guests with bad manners stay, so I won't stay there again in the future, but it's not the hotel's fault, it's just a waste.
