Aman Kyoto is a fantastic escape from the bustling city life of Kyoto. I stayed here with my dad for three nights to end a 9 day excursion in Japan (we also went to FS Tokyo and FS Osaka). …

natureEverything is special.Unique.The price is also on a bankrupt budget. This is a far cry from a typical accommodation budget. This is an inn that you should try at least once in your life.I want to go again, but the accommodation fee is so high that I'm hesitant! lol

I would say the hotel is quite quiet luxury which is unusual - the site is beyond my expectations very beautiful - close to nature and very peaceful.Onsen - indoor and outdoor are in the spa. What a surprise.... NO swimming pool guys!!!!The dinner in the Japanese restaurant was very small are pricey. The breakfast was underwhelming.I am not sure if this is the right price if considering another 5+ hotel in Kyoto. But if you have millions sitting nicely in your bank account then Yeahh your choice - your experience ... 😉Let me know your thoughts...

This is 5000USD per night hotel but you have got is just 500USD hotel level. Hotel Charge a lot but did not prepare anything to make guest feels home as they always said.I really don't understand why Aman Kyoto is so expensive. Location is not good at all. The room is ok, but a bit small. The Main dining room is very small. 90% are trees. So there is no common space to enjoy. No gym No pool. It was boring staying here.So I would give a 3-4 stars if the price is like1000USD, but this is way far overprice. This is my l6th Aman so I think I know how Aman is.I think the properties looks deserted, unlively, nothing to enjoy. Welcome and Farewell part is also disappointed.Service is ok, Standard but not exceptional.Food is ok but should be better. Finally, l encourage GM or Staffs to go other Aman all around the world to see How standard Aman is. I have to say you are ruin Aman brand.
