First time at Sujiyu Onsen✨There are 3 private baths, and after checking in, I went to take a bath right away! Is it fog? I walk in a light rain, but I feel like I'll be there soon. There is an open-air bath and standing bath for women only, and my wife went there too! It is dark at night and there is little lighting, so if you are going with children or the elderly, it is best to have someone with you. There is something like a swing inside the standing bath. If you are about 145cm, can you barely stand up?Private baths include stone baths, cypress baths, and rock baths. The bath will be open after 9pm, but if you wish to take a bath before then, you will receive a key at the reception. Is the stone bath the biggest of these? All shower pressures are weak, so for a full-fledged bath it might be best to use the large public bath. There is an open-air bath and sauna in the basement.Attention ⚠️ This is a mixed bath. Women only from 20:00 to 21:00Immediately after entering the dehydration area, go down the stairs to the bathroom. The bathtub with hot spring water is very hot.For dinner, we had sukiyaki and horse sashimi.I guess I was a little disappointed because I only had salmon for sashimi. I received some Japanese sake, but it was made in Nara.It was light. The tempura was freshly fried and delicious. As mentioned in the reviews, the rice... it's really good. lolBreakfast is also a steamed dish of raw eggs and shiitake mushrooms. There are plenty of side dishes and all you can eat rice. Miso soup cannot be refilled. The rice was delicious and I ate 3 bowls. It makes my bath so smooth that I don't even need lotion, and the food is delicious, so I highly recommend it. There are many guesthouses and inns around, so you might be able to find them all. ?Is it a live-in? We also have foreigners working there, but they will listen carefully to your wishes and make sure you understand Japanese! The room is a Japanese style room, but it is very clean! It was interesting to see that there was a shower room when I opened the door right after entering.

The altitude is 1000m, so I was able to sleep without turning on the air conditioner. I took a lot of bath in the family bath and it felt good!! ️

Although we stayed during Golden Week, it was very reasonably priced. Dinner and breakfast were surprisingly delicious! The whole family was very satisfied. The facility is old and feels like the Showa era, but it is clean. The staff are very friendly and you can enjoy the baths in many ways. This is a wonderful hot spring inn where you can relax and recommend it to everyone.

A more traditional hot spring hotel. If you stay in a Japanese-style room, it is recommended that there is a private hot spring opposite the hotel. …

I stayed here on March 15th. Located in the navel of Kyushu, the nearby ski resort was still open and there was still some snow left. The quality of the hot springs at Sujiyu Onsenkyo was excellent. 😊
