A quiet location within walking distance from Fukui Station. There are many long-established stores around, and the view along the Asuwa River from the room is great. The customer service and food are excellent, and if I have a chance to visit Fukui again, I would definitely stay here again. The building itself seems to be quite old, but the rooms and bathrooms have been renovated so it didn't bother me.

Meals are served in a private room separate from the room you stay in, and both dinner and breakfast are carefully prepared and in just the right amount. The walls of the bathroom in the room are filled with tableware, which is interesting. The toilet is a new type of Pana heated toilet seat. The friendly landlady and her husband were running the business, and they also gave us advice on sightseeing. At my recommendation, I took a walk around the Ichijodani Asakura clan ruins and went to the new museum. Nearby are Kunishima Seihei Shoten, a fermented food store, and Matsuokaken, a Habutae mochi store.

Stayed in November.Although the facility itself is not new, it is well-cleaned, and I also used the family bath, and it was so well-cleaned that there was no sign that it had been used by the previous person. The food was delicious, and I was able to enjoy it in a private room, so I could relax and enjoy it without worrying about other people watching.Customer service is polite and pleasant.
