The room was Utakata's ``Ten no Sho'' villa.I used it for the first time on a trip with three sisters. As soon as we arrived at the inn, a man carried our luggage and we quickly checked in. After that, they carried my luggage to my room. Before arriving at our room, we were given an explanation of the dining venue. ``Bettei Utakata'' felt like it was floating on a pond. There are three rooms, two twin bedrooms and one tatami room. When I told them in advance that I had some difficulty walking, they provided me with a low chair. The bath in the room was large and the three sisters were able to enjoy the hot spring together. We had dinner in a private room.Kumamoto! Speaking of which, the ``basashi'' was a very delicious horse sashimi. All the other dishes were delicious and my sister and I were impressed. There was thunder and pouring rain that night, but on the contrary, I was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully. Early in the morning, we took a walk around the grounds of the inn and discovered freshwater crabs. lolI had to check out early in the morning, so I informed them in advance and they made me a ``lunch box'' in the morning. The rice balls were warm and warm, and it was a nice meal on a rainy morning.A very considerate inn. This is a ryokan that I would definitely like to visit again.

I stayed here with my 4 year old daughter and my wife on a family trip. The service was also very courteous, and since the whole house was rented out, I didn't have to worry about my kids getting busy! The room was spacious, the bath was spacious, and my daughter seemed to be having a lot of fun.The food was delicious and I would love to stay there again!

All rooms are independent buildings in the lodging style, with semi-open-air baths. I'm glad that you can smoke at the entrance of each room.

I was happy because the meal was in a private room and it was a great meal❗The indoor bath was too hot so I couldn't take a bath...I should have taken a bath even if I turned into an octopus😥

We stayed here on a trip to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Although the weather was rainy and we couldn't get a great view, we were impressed by the excellent customer service from the veteran staff and the easy-to-use facilities such as the kotatsu and low table in the room. I felt a warmth that you don't get at resort hotels. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

1. Location: Close to Daikanbo, Milk Factory, and 7-Eleven.2. Facilities: All rooms are separate buildings, and each room has a hot spring with hot spring water flowing 24 hours a day. It's convenient and nice because you don't have to get water separately, you just have to immerse yourself in it. Since the hot springs are just a few steps away, you can go in and out as many times as you want, so I stayed for one night and I think I went in almost 10 times. Since it's Kyushu, it feels a bit warm by Korean standards, and it was nice to be able to open the windows on both sides when I felt stuffy while taking a hot spring bath. It must have been humid because water kept coming out, but I didn't see any mold stains. The rooms are also very clean and warm.Oh, you can drink tea or coffee at the reception, but the time is limited, and more than anything, you crave cool water when enjoying a hot spring bath, but there is no bottled water in the vending machine in the ryokan, so be sure to buy plenty! In Japan, they say you can just drink tap water, but the only place where tap water comes out is in the bathroom, so I feel psychological resistance... haha (They told me that I shouldn't drink the water in the sink because it's hot spring water).3. Service: The ultimate in kindness. It really shows the taste of a ryokan. During dinner, not only the servers come and go, but the chef and owner also come to say hello. However, it may be difficult if you don't speak Japanese. A few days before check-in, I was contacted to confirm my reservation, but they asked if I could speak Japanese, as no staff was fluent in English. This is the perfect accommodation if you can only speak Japanese.4. Food: Plenty of food and delicious. None of the seafood and horse sashimi were fishy. Personally, I found the tapioca sesame tofu the most amazing and delicious. Alcohol is also available at reasonable prices. A 300ml bottle can cost around 10,000 won. Dinner is served as a multi-course meal (select and reserve in advance), and breakfast is served as a set meal in a box.

A must-choice single-family manor hot spring hotel for self-driving and independent travel in Kyushu. Surrounded by the Aso Mountains, we carefully select local seasonal ingredients for breakfast and dinner. There are milk factories, rose gardens, and duty-free shops within walking distance. Close to Daikan Peak and Aso Shrine. You can choose between comfortable and spacious Japanese-style or Western-style rooms, and an independent Japanese-style open-air hot spring. There are Chinese-speaking staff and the communication service is great.
