I decided to stay here because I was drawn to the vegetarian cuisine and the meditation experience at Myotsuji Temple next door. Anyway, I was surprised by the Shojin ryori for dinner. As a course, each dish had a variety of tastes and aromas, especially the one with the title "Today's Field", which I think had over 10 vegetables, and various dishes such as fresh salt. Each vegetable was cooked like a salad, and I was able to taste the taste of each ingredient and cooking method. The main dishes were fava beans and grilled bamboo shoots, each with its own flavor and the portions were plentiful.Beforehand, I thought it was some kind of inn, but then I realized that it was probably an auberge. The room was close to the river and I could feel the murmuring sound, and it was a modern Japanese-style room with a hard mattress and pillow, so it was comfortable to sleep. There were various books in the room and lounge, many of which I liked, but I couldn't read them slowly, but the lounge also had herbal tea and alcohol in the evening. , I was able to do it slowly.I was disappointed that I arrived late and couldn't experience the farm, but the next day's Ajikan meditation experience and the elaborate Shojin breakfast were wonderful, and at Myotsuji Temple, I took my time to see the three-storied pagoda, a national treasure. I was able to see the statue of Yakushi Nyorai up close. The staff at the inn were very courteous and the accommodation was very comfortable. Also, next time, I would like to experience a farm.

Beautiful. Very comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing. Feels surrounded by nature. Our room was spacious, well stocked, and with a beautiful view of the waterfall and forest. The common room is cozy with complimentary sake and umeshu. The creek could be heard from the private onsen.Dinner was good. All the soups were excellent. Breakfast in the temple was wonderful as well.

The purpose was to meditate the next morning, but I really enjoyed walking around the farm before dinner, and it was a great experience as I was able to feel the aroma of the herbs and learn about how the vegetables we eat every day grow. I was able to do it.The dinner was so voluminous that I couldn't believe it was made entirely of vegetables, and I felt as if my sense of taste had been sharpened by experiencing the natural freshness, sweetness, bitterness, and umami of vegetables, which I normally don't consciously appreciate. .This inn is an inn that pays close attention to the smallest details, such as providing boots for you when you walk around the farm, and handing you warmers when you head to your meditation experience the next morning.I hope to visit again in a different season.

It was a very relaxing two days. The Buddhist vegetarian cuisine was creative and both looked and tasted very good. I was really impressed by the food, which was completely different from what I had imagined. It was my first time experiencing meditation, but it was a refreshing time. I felt like I was able to experience a little bit of a journey beyond my five senses.

I was able to visit again with the feeling of ``I'm home''.Just like last time, I was able to spend a good time in a comfortable and relaxing space, away from the hustle and bustle.Best of all, the food is amazing. The dishes are colorfully arranged with fresh vegetables harvested from their own farm, and the flavors are all exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed the deliciousness of the vegetables.I hope that I will be able to visit again again... Thank you very much.

I made a reservation after seeing a special feature in the magazine Veggy. I received very detailed emails from the time I made my reservation until the scheduled date of my stay. At the inn, we had a very relaxing time picking herbs in the attached herb garden, meditating at Myotsuji Temple the next morning, and having breakfast at Myotsuji Temple. Herbs picked from the herb garden were delivered to the room as herbal tea, and vegetables were served for dinner. The spirit of hospitality was felt everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was impressed by the fact that I could hear deer cries in the middle of the night, which was unique to the location of this inn.
