I visited the old building (in winter), and enjoyed the rough waves of the Sea of Japan, the remote inn, and the constant, comfortable care of the veteran waiter.Used by my family this July. I was surprised by the poor reception at the front desk, but the service was a bit excessive, the food tasted great, and most of all, the bathroom in the room was spacious and great.But...it's too expensive. At this price, you can't expect crab season at all. I think they need to do a little more if they hope to visit again.

The room and food were really great, but the service wasn't as surprising as the price. It was a good thing because my wife and daughter, who didn't know the price, were very happy. I would like to stay there again with my family, but it's too expensive. With this pricing, you would think all services would be like this. For this price, there are many options for staying a few more nights at other high-priced inns in Awara. However, if I win the lottery, I would definitely like to come again.

I stayed here twice over 15 years ago.I have fond memories of both the food and the location being great. (The food photo is from that time.)I wanted to go there for the first time in a while, so I looked at the homepage,I was surprised at the amount. Are you looking at a different inn by mistake? I thought,I searched for it about 3 times, but it had been renewed. It was no longer the same inn I had stayed at.Are you sure it was around the time I stayed there? I think the price was around 50,000 yen? I remember that, but since the price is ridiculously high, I wonder if the food is also pretty amazing? When I looked at the food photos posted by people after the renovation, it didn't look like it had changed dramatically from when I stayed there. ?It has certainly been renovated and is clean,The location is perfect, sitting outside in front of the sea as the sun sets. However, even though the restaurant is not reserved for the entire restaurant and the food is carefully selected from ingredients, I don't think this price is possible.I'm sure the target is rich people and foreigners who have added renewal costs.I feel like things other than the price have changed, so I won't be able to stay there anymore, so it's a shame.

I will only conclude with three points. ① The location is great ② The food was delicious. ③The accommodation fee is so high that my eyes pop out. This is an unheard of rate for local accommodations. Well, I think it's aimed at inbound tourists, but it's unrealistic for a normal Japanese family to stay there. (My father paid for it, so I was surprised to find out the price later.)

The view from the room is very beautiful. The crab dinner was also great. I recommend the a la carte crab gratin as it is delicious.

I have stayed at many high class inns in Hakone, Izu, and Atami, but the quality exceeds that. I'm very sorry. The view from the room, the care for the glass, the food, all of them are amazing. The hospitality of the staff was also very pleasant. I would definitely like to visit you again. thank you very much. This time, I stayed again with the crab-eating plan and was incredibly satisfied.
