The fish dishes were delicious and fresh.I was very impressed with the care they took in putting together the leftover food, as I was sure I would be hungry later and would have to snack on alcohol. It's not a luxurious or very beautiful inn, but it's a memorable inn.

I visited a certain gourmet site after seeing it, but it was a big mistake. The current menu doesn't have enough variety to choose from for lunch. I ate a seafood bowl for 1,800 yen, but the freshness was at the lowest level, and the food at the supermarket or conveyor belt sushi is definitely better. The sashimi looked like it had been in the fridge for about 2 days, and the yellowtail had a bad color and smell, and it contained what appeared to be medium-sized fatty tuna (fatty fatty tuna), but for some reason, the pieces, which were about the size of a piece of sushi topping, were finely chopped into 5mm pieces. It's cut and not tasty at all. Speaking of Fukui Prefecture, the rice is supposed to be delicious, but it wasn't very good, and the soup was just too salty. The tea is self-service and the teapot comes with tea bags that don't taste good. The customer service is very unfriendly, with only the cashier taking orders and delivering them, which is surprising considering this is a culinary inn. If it's leftovers from Golden Week or they don't have it in stock, it might be better not to open for lunch.I never expected to be served something like this near the sea. There were no other customers, so the store was neatly organized. Please understand that my comments are honest and I hold no grudges.

I went from Osaka for the seafood bowl because I saw good reviews and photos on the internet.Unfortunately, the ingredients were old and the yellowtail had darkened in color, the sea bream was squishy, the horse mackerel was gray and sticky, the tuna was just a snack, and the rice was frozen. The soup was heated seawater. It tasted like ?It is very disappointing.I understand that business is difficult due to the coronavirus, but I think this will lead to fewer customers.Even 180 yen is expensive.

This time I stayed in the Echizen room on the first floor of the new building. The dishes are always exquisite, and the crab meat is very filling and delicious. The main building was filled with the smell of crabs, but the new building was completely clean and comfortable. However, since it is built on the edge of the sea, there is a lot of waves, so if you are sensitive to noise, you may want to sleep there depending on the day.
