I have used it several times as a reward inn.The small items placed here and there, the tableware for the dishes, etc., each one has a great taste and I enjoy it every time.I look forward to every meal as I can fully enjoy the local cuisine of Aizu.I'm very happy that after checking in, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink local sake and fresh juice in the lounge until before dinner.I will visit you again!!

A hideaway hot spring inn with 10 rooms.Each room is equipped with an open-air bath, and you can have your meals in a private room at the restaurant, so you can enjoy your quiet and private time to your heart's content. Recommended for couples who want to spend a special day.The refrigerator in the guest room contains canned beer, canned green tea, and bottled water for each person. Tea pack types are also available for coffee and green tea.It's not a problem since the guest room has a hot spring, but other than the open-air private bath, it's a bit disappointing.Also, although the response may vary depending on the staff, I felt that there was a difference between greeting and seeing off, and seeing off was too quick.

The inside of the hotel is also nice and the space is very hygienic.Each room has an open-air bath, and you can have your meals in the private room in the evening and in the morning...The private space is wonderful.The staff's service and smiles were also wonderful. Please come visit us again.

This is a small inn with 10 rooms, each with its own open-air bath.It seems that various things have been renovated, but the site is narrow along the river, so the inside of the building is small, the rooms are small, and the baths are small. It's a good accommodation for people who feel more comfortable in a smaller space and want to be in close contact with their companions.I don't think the food is that delicious either. There is also an inn, Auberge, famous for its cuisine nearby.The price is high for that.I don't recommend it unless you really want to stay at Bandai Atami or you really want to stay at Moritaya.

Recommended for younger couples /friends. The ryokan service is more modernized and sleek e.g. staff favors giving privacy rather than being overly at hand. However they are right there when you need help with luggage etc.Some pluses:- Two big fluffy towels per person which is useful when you keep going back into the onsen bath.- Shoyeido Tagasode scent for the wardrobe, a nice touch- Tableware is unique, plating is picture-perfect, including sprig of seasonal flower.- Good sake selection.- Good view of the river framed by maple branches in the room, the bath, the private dining room even.- Service is sincere, kudos to the staff who helped us bring the luggage out and back to the car in spite of the rain, and for the staff who answered our questions about the food (learnt something new about the locally farmed trout).- New air conditioning easy to adjust and powerful.- Welcome drink selection is great: local sake, local wild fruit juice.A few small minuses:- Stairs. A little narrow and steep for those who are wary of heights.- No light blocking curtains and only Japanese paper shoji, so if you are a light sleeper you will be woken by morning sun.- There is an delonghi espresso machine but don’t bother drinking the coffee. Drink the goodnight tea bag in the room instead.

I visited using the pregnant woman plan🤰🏻The bath, food, and attention were great!There are only 10 rooms, so I only met other customers in the cafe space, and I never met other customers at all. Are we the only ones...? I see.The room has a bath, so even as a pregnant woman, I was able to take a bath without worrying about being seen.There is no public bath.However, there is no window in the bath in the room, so I felt cold when washing my body in early April💦If you are cold, we recommend going to the indoor bath of the private bath!Also, the room I stayed in this time was on the second floor. There is no problem as long as you hold the handrail firmly. There are no elevators, so if you don't like stairs, it's best not to stay in a room on the second floor.They also asked me to avoid all living things with my meals, and they even asked me if I wanted to drink hojicha after the meal (because it contains caffeine).(The sashimi was perfectly cooked all the way through, the aperitif was a soft drink, and everything else was safe for pregnant women to eat.)The inn itself is not a large building, but rather a small one, so I passed by it for a moment at first, but I had a very relaxing time😌🤍It was our last trip together as a couple, but we had a safe and enjoyable trip and made some fun memories! ✨Thank you very much☺️💗

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations when I stayed here, but the service was very good. The open-air bath in the room was especially spacious. Apparently they refill the hot water every day.A variety of local foods are available for rice. The chicken hotpot was good. I want to eat it again. I had the Fukushima beef as an option, but it was so big that I should have asked for a knife to cut it into pieces.Many of the staff members looked like part-time students, but they worked hard. They take great care to ensure that their guests have a comfortable stay.However, the telephone response seemed curt and there seems to be room for more politeness in the atmosphere upon arrival. If you have some training in that area, it will be a very good place to stay.

My room is on the ground floor. I don't know whether it is the cheapest plan of the hotel that I had booked, but I found that the toilet was smelly and the floor of the room was not clean enough. I could find some stains on the floor. Moreover, the only place that I could take a shower in my room was outdoor which is next to the hotspring, but there was no shower head provided so I had to use the wooden basin to store some warm water every time when I was taking a bath and it is extremely windy and cold outside! A little bit disappointed about the room.

The hot water is very good.Since it was attached to my room, I went in over and over again without worrying about the time.There was a little bit of snow, so I was able to enjoy the snow bath.I ordered extra meat for my meal, and it was all really delicious, making it a great trip.To be honest, I tried to order alcohol from room service that night, but there was nothing to snack on, so I thought it would be nice to have snacks like dried food.I couldn't find a convenience store after getting off the expressway, so next time I'd like to buy some in advance.This is an inn I would definitely like to stay at again.

It's a small facility, perfect for our purpose. There are many stairs and it is not barrier-free, but I was able to enjoy the private bath. The food was also delicious.I was a little disappointed that I couldn't meet the landlady or the host during my stay.
